To All Masters of Thaumaturgical Practices,

I find it an interesting fact that all Thaumaturgists have very different theories on the Arcane Arts of Magic. It is my intent to gather together the theories of the various masters of the Arcane Ways in order for a more orderly study of magic. With the various theories put together into a single manual, this will facilitate a more indepth knowledge of the ways of Magic on this island.

Although I have no intent to write any of the chapters myself, for I am only a novice in such things, I will do all in my power to organize and bind this book and make it available to the public. Before you reply to this note with worries about the spread of Magic into the wrong hands, I only intend for this manual to contain theories on how Thaumaturgical practices work, and not on how to obtain or learn such practices.

If you have any interest in this ongoing process, please send a letter either to the Seahorse Inn in Trollsbane or the castle in Varshikar; I will be looking for replies of interest there.
