Your topic is a lie - since I don't like the idea its less than 100%.
BTW: The last change in the game was done about 16 hours ago.

Uhh.. If so, please put it on the news.

This game is really fun to rp in.
But in a game you got to be able to Roleplay, and Play normal.
Since there is not many people online often it is hard to roleplay ingame. But on the boards you can make a good story or whatever. To play in the game, you cant do much more then smithing or earning money that way, its not fun to talk to people all day long.

who are you to tell the admins to start working on the game again???
they have a life you know....this game isn't their job...they DO NOT get paid to do this...this is a HOBBY for them. And yes, they are constently updating...but even if they arn't you still have no right to tell them to do this and do that. sorry i got a bit acrried away...but some people take so many things for granted

Seth, It was a proposal, read what i wright before you give it an answer.

GMcFly, yeah whatever.. ;)

Im not playing this game, from time to time I come back and get the biggest ideas of guilds and other things I want to do. But after 1 day, I leave again. Why? Because it IS boring to play a game that never gets any further, doesnt grow bigger and never gets real updates.

You update and make a depot here and there, take it away, move it and then move it back.
Thats not what I call an update..

And Remember, this is a PROPOSAL. Just thought this could bring some thoughts to Bror and the other people making this game. I just want to help, even if it may sound "alittle" like critism directly towards Bror(More updates you schmuckhead!!)

;)

I haven't thought, that this proposal was realy ment to help, I thought it was a joke.
Since I now think it wasn't meant as a joke: We have thought about that too, so it wasn't a very original idea.
And if I would write every change on the news page, the people wouldn't find something new in the game, they just look in the news and try the things out. This game is for the players, not for the people who stop in every two month, look in the news, try the new stuff and leave.  Anyway, I am not willing to post news every day for every little change.
Since you are saying that roleplay is only hardly possible without an update: To do roleplay, you need only to be able to write text, so a chatroom would be perfectly for roleplaying. What you are perhaps talking about are neat little features to keep the players that are not willing to roleplay.
How can you talk about the number of players online? At least your main character hasn't been logged in for 1 1/2 month.
If we do an update now, as you demand, Baldur and I would have worked at the university for 3 1/2 years for nothing, since we wouldn't get our diploma.

Bror, could you at least post some of the bigger changes or give us hints or something. Like you could post a way to make thread has been added again or something in the news, but not tell us how to do it

Just play the game and you will see the changes. And I think it is much more fun to discover something new by your own, than get everything presented on a big tray without using your imagination.
If this work is too hard for you, ask people in the game. They might help you.

Oh and by the way Tal Rash, if you consider the sentence: "Start work on the game again.. " as a real serious proposal, than also your future proposals will be stuck in a dead end.

at tal rash, here is a chart of your brain,

first time you met sean-san- moron
leaving for the first time-smart
leaving for the second time- medium
talking for more then 1min without bashing the brains out of each other- smart
telling GMs what to do-  Plus Locos Idoita!

here is why the Gms do not listen to your idea

1) illarion was created as a test of the admins and dev teams programing skills , good skills I must say
2) bror and all them are partying in exams right now, but once they are out I am sure drastic changes will be made
3) this game is not very big as yet (one island one town and if you take away dupe chars, about 8000 players. most are returnees from earlier builds) also the server they are using is limited and the mor eplayers the more laaaag!

You got me wrong Bror.. I appreciate that you even have this game for free, to let people play it and so on. But my idea was still pretty good :)

And if you would loose your diploma and all that because of this game, shut down the server.
I think you know what im saying.. Just wanted to give you a smartass idea ;)

Gosh, Tal, switch on your brain. I hate to be insulting, but I can't help myself, sorry.

Have you ever seen a better FREE online game? Have you any idea how much times it takes to study for exams at the university? Do you have any idea how much work it takes to code all of the stuff here and to make the graphics?
You should be thankful for what you have now. I think this game is only second to Ultima Online of all the games I know. And second to UO it is only because of the graphics (which I find secondary) and a bit balance (which can be helped by good rp).

I would have fully understood your idea if it had sounded more like "Guys, I see you're busy. Do you need some help? Can I give you a hand anywhere to push development forward?"
But the way you did it, it just sounded like a kid who has no idea about anything and goes "wanna-wanna-wanna have".

Sorry if I sounded a bit too rude, but that post really upset me quite a lot :-(
