Elders of Troll's Bane,
I have lived in this town only a few days, not long enough to have experienced any of the history, the trials, and the victories of its inhabitance. Though I was not there for any of this, I would like to hear the stories. The knowledge I seek, from those of you who lived through these crucial times, is that of the history of this place, both ancient and recent. I was assured by a friend that the guards of this place knew a great deal of what has happened, and being that they are all knowledgable person, I believe him. I ask of whomever is willing and able, only a few hours to sit and talk. If any of you wish to help me, send word by dove, or whatever other birds you own, and I will surely reply. I have little to offer in payment, but I will offer what I can spare.
