After Aaron's sought for the arcane arts they began to drain his body of strength. His inability to conttrol the power feeding off him worsened the affects. After his first pains in his chest and Galim's healing session not only did his body drained more but his mind began to wither. At first what appeared to be him being senile escalated into something worse. He began to hear deep voices. One day on a walk a deep voice said:
"Aaron!"
Aaron turned his head and looked around. He walked on thinking it was some strange noise until the voice boomed a much more vivid and detailed sentence.
"Bow to your master, begin the preparations!"
Aaron shoved it off saying "Stop it, no!" and "I can't". Soon an dark possession came over him and he got a staff with a pig skull mounted on its end and headed to the pigs. He cornered one and made a small cut. He used a goblet and drank the blood. Then he slaughtered the pig and skinned it. He wore the skin and walked off. He then ran into a man muttering and growling. He was angry at his misfortune and swore some sort of revenge. Aaron heard voices again:
"Get him, PROVE yourself"
Aaron resistd knowing his attempts were futile but the voices came back
"I GAVE YOU YOUR POWER! Your false faith has sickened me! Now either heed my word or DIE!
Aaron shivered at the voice and told him to shush. The voice kept on beckoning him to please the voice. Eventually the voice roared:
"Now your fate is sealed. Your death shall be a repeat attempt. Your blasphemy has angered me too many times now
Aaron's fear grew and he took the raw meat and tried to please the Blood God with his own blood and the pig's meat. He chanted some odd words as if possessed. The God resisted his futile attempts and mocked him. Aaron cried out and one time demanded him. A rage grew around him and the voice said:
"Enough, that was too much and now you shall suffer"
Aaron's chest pounded and he feel, the two men who followed him tried to help but failed. They carried him into town where Galim tried to heal him again but it was too late. As his spirit left his body he lingered on the thought "Was the voice real?"
