Building projects - Working together to build things

How about being able to build structures, such as a mine, to get more/precious minerals that several people can build together. I think this would get people working together more and give people something else to do than just collection silver.

Way it would work
The construction would have a percentage that goes up as it’s built
The more people helping, the fasted it is constructed
Over time the structure would deteriorate so people would have to fix it else it would disappear
Once the structure is working, people could use it the same way we use a glass over, grind stone and so one.
