Shukk looked toward Gnarr, leaning on her hammer. The older lizard, sitting on the grass ground and meditating sighed deeply. His eyes were closed and when he opened them again, he sadly glanced at Shukk.
"My task here is done, now give me my freedom back." Shukk hissed.
"I always hoped you would still do the work as a guard when the time is over. You had done a good job. And it's sad, that you don't want to keep this work."
Shukk sighed a bit and nodded toward Gnarr.
"Working for the temple was nice, my friend Gnarr... But since the punishment is over, i want to go my own ways again. You've always been a nice husband. Father will not be any happy if i tell him, i'll work for Diana again."
She shrugged and straped the hammer on her back.
"I will keep this hammer, reminding me of my work as a templeguard. Farewell, Gnarr"
Then, she hugged him and gave him a gentle kiss.
"Things have gone completely wrong. It is paytime..."
