As I posted here a while ago, (Yes, I am also Alakdal. If you did not know that, go HERE) I am unable to log into Illarion, and have not been able to log in for more than a month now...
I think I know why. About a week before the problems started, I got wireless cable.
One day, the cable screwed up. My computer said I was online, but I was unable to go to any websites or do anything online. I called the cable people, and they told me to turn off the Wireless Adapter thing (the thing that sends the wireless signal to my laptop) and turn it back on after a few minutes of waiting. I did as they said, and everything seemed to work fine. I could go to websites and talk to people on messengers and other things, but when I tried to log onto Illarion, I got an error. I got the "Maybe the server is offline or you are not connected to the internet" message. I obviously was online, so I asked a friend from Illarion to log in and see if he got the same message. He didn't get a message, he could log in as usual!
Since then, I have been unable to log in, and have been looking for reasons. This is just about the last possible reason I can think of. I do not know how to ''fix'' this problem. Perhaps any of you do? Maybe it's just that my character files are messed up? I never tried to log in without them. Even the new client gives me these errors, so maybe it is my files after all.... I will try to log on without the files and see if it works. If that doesn't work, do any of you know what exactly is wrong and what I could do to log back in again?
EDIT: Well the server is down right now, so I can't try to log in without the files. I will try later.
