Troll's Bane Tavern

A note hangs, nailed up in front of the tavern's door, flapping in the breeze:

Let's do this.

Troll's Bane's own tavern is currently a decrepit old shack, deprived of any glory any tavern is supposed to have. Most of the times when I walk in there, it's even emptier than my money pouch.

I offer to work as the barkeeper from now on, but I won't be able to do it alone because I simply won't always be there. And we'll need some people for serving the beverages to the tables. Oh, and people for cooking. And for cleaning. And entertainment.

You get the idea.

If you want to work there or just make it a better place, leave a note here or send me a dove.

Eine zweite Nachricht, nun in der alten Sprache verfasst, steht darunter angeschlagen:

Die Taverne von Troll's Bane ist zur Zeit eine alte, verfallene Scheune - fern von jeglicher Pracht, welches irgendeine Taverne jemals haben sollte. Es kommt häufiger vor, dass ich hier hineinspaziere und die Taverne leerer als mein Geldbeutel vorfinde.

Ich biete meine Dienste als Barkeeper an, doch werde ich dies nicht alleine tun können, da ich nicht immer dort sein werde. And es braucht Servierkräfte, Köche und Putzfachkräfte. Und Leute, die in Unterhaltung bewandert sind.

Ich glaub' Ihr wisst, was ich meine.

Wer Interesse hegt, hier zu arbeiten - oder die Taverne einfach zu einem besseren Ort machen will - so hinterlasst doch bitte hier eine Nachricht oder schickt mir eine Taube.

The tavern is owned by Tialdin, so your neck would be best talking to him before making money for bar tending. Seperating a dwarf from his gold is like seperating your head from your neck.

Thanks to thee, Avrillon. For the record: I'm not too keen on the money. I'll definitely be talking to Tialdin, because he apparently has better things to do than tending to his tavern. I may not have been here in Troll's Bane for a long while, but I've never spotted him here in his own tavern.

The fact that the Tavern is ran by any sort of person is very rare any longer, I think Tialdin will be glad to put someone in charge that might have the time for it.

Unfortunatly, Tialdin seems very uninterested in getting the Tavern active.

A human shape passes the town board and leaves a small note. While disappearing it sighs hearable.

This is a short reminder:

A couple of days ago, there was this human called Bordir, who became the 'new' barkeeper and even tries to hire personal to re-activate the tavern. Don't remember? - Then have a look!
But lately a note about the kidnapping of this Bordir could be read here.
I think there has to be some investigtion in this case, before another one should declare himself as the new guy from the Fluffy Sheep.

In my opinion, the balance of things has to be kept up. And transparency of information is one important condition, to treat everyone equal. So I only mentioned these former events, because of the common sense.

Another innocuous note adorns the space below the others. Perhaps it is the last here:

Tialdin has returned, and the case is closed again. I'm glad to see life will be returning to the tavern soon. To see who's officially a member of the tavern crew, you'll have to go read that billboard over there.

I will leave these notes to hang here for the time being. Perhaps there are things here that certain people might want to know.
