spell casting - a idea...

well there are many 2 shielded mages around latly.. i thing this is not really realistic.
i thing u should just be able to cast anything when u have either nothing or any kind of staff in your hand.
or that should at least improve the spells a lot.
spell casting should also be much harder or almost impossible when u wear heavy armor like plate or chain.
therefor items like robes and wizard hats should improve it

not again the the bad bad mages with 2 shields damn does here anyone read the boards and thier topics ???

if someone has 2 shields and you as a well trained blade only fighter cant hurt him he cant (at this time) be a mage or druid he is then only a lamer he has then a fighter who uses magic like a mage or makes potions like a druid

a mage char is only dangerous with a magicstaff so dont tell me the stuff a mage with 2 shields will be dangerous for a fast moving fighter or archer

@kirk: when u post then post something with "content". when you want to tell people that they opened a topic already exicisting then plz post the link. especialy when the topic isnt on the first page....
+ this topic is not about if a good fighter has a prob with 2-shielded its about if that is good rpg and if it is realistic. Example: u cant attack with a sword when u dont have a sword.
its the same in the case of magic
