On Lizards - just a few biological things

Hi

While reading the stuff about races, I encountered a detail, that made me thinking.
Lizardmen live in underwater cities.
How do you explain a REPTILE living UNDER water? All right, this is fantasy, but I think, if adding a biological reptilian race, a few thoughts should be given to the details.
Lizards can´t breath water, and most important, they need warmth to get even moving. How would a sea-dwelling race get enough warmth to keep their bodies working?

And how do lizards walk on two legs and use swords and wear clothes? Who thought of this stupid stuff? *gg*

Call them whatever you like, perhaps Lizard is wrong. I imagined something like the race from star wars episode I (JahJah or how he was called)

Havent any of you watch spider man? If not you have no idea what I'm talking bout.And I thought the "Lizardman" was half human also or did I miss read that some where?As for the under water stuff no idea.

Yes, Bror, I was afraid of something like that (I hate Episode I, and especially Jarjar ...). But if you think back, this race got only amphibious features, not reptilian.
But why not making them live in swamps? They would have enough warmth, and water too.
Someday I hope, it will be possible, to get some racedependent things into game. Like freezing in cold climates for lizards, or suffering from heat for humans or elves.

Elves, dwarves and orcs don't suffer from temperatures as much as humans do... hehe. Don't make it too complicated.
