better make some researches in our chronicle and history books. What Adano told you was the truth and no lies.

all the time our earl Aragon ben Galwan was working behind the scenes to end this war in a peaceful way
Perhaps he was but no matter, in the end it all came down to Crosis. Crosis was the one who had to pay Darlok to end the war, since nothing else was working.

Dear Evergreen Halflings,
i will not contribute to the other assumptions and the bickering, but i think it necessary to remind you of some facts.
First your complaints are about this or that guild of Lyrenzia. I read no argument against the institution of Lyrenzia, every complaint was about one of its guilds and their actions. Several independent guilds worked together to make their home more secure. This is Lyrenzia. Its personell are the council, the SMACC council and the guard, an organisation which were given the duty of executing the wish for security. It is not Lyrenzias job to substitute the bilateral arrangements, which are discussed here.
Second i expected the evergreens to be more gratefull. I may add, that the guard is there to execute the laws which Lyrenzia makes. The guard threw several trespassers out of your land by your explicit wish. The guard rescued rosa and her child and banned the people who threatened them for weeks or permanently from town. I cannot remember a situation in which the guard was asked for help and did not take action, be it a request for guardsmen to help you with trespassers or be it a complaint that someone spits on you for your race alone or harasses you. The guard assures the streets of the town, where you halflings come to to make business and meet your friends, are free from thugs. And, as you might know, their preferable targets are those who appear to be weak or small.
Please think again about the argument that Lyrenzia does nothing. They gave the guard the authority to do what i mentioned above. I ask you to specify your complaints and the people to which they are directed more exactly.
Thank you for your attention,
~Hagen von Rabenfeld~

Hagen, your 'town guard' replaces chaos with other forms of chaos.

Greetings Halflings,
As some of you may or may not know I have returned in town. I have been here a day or so and look forward to seeing you all. However, I have noticed I am no longer a member. What would I need to do about becoming a member again?
Many thanks,
Hermie

All members of the Evergreen Halflings are asked to vote for one of the following four candidates.
Veralion
Hagen von Rabenfield
Shukk
Grimbard
Earlier this night, a meeting was held to discuss how to battle the Horde menace. It was decided to vote for a Warlord Leader, to rally all guilds and towns on the island. These people were nominated.
Voting ends in 24 hours
Vote wisely.
My vote remains with Veralion.

You would think the "WarLord" would be a strong fighter, the strongest of all. I hear Hagen died to Kale Orton, and I know Veralion is weak. I am not saying I should lead, but I do say their are stronger men then these... Much strong.

Veralion is allied with Darlok who harbours the horde, Hagen is a good man, but he is no millitary genral, Shukk, and grimbard I've never heard of, so I will not vote, untill these people have explained why they should be the leader.

Veralion is with Darlok because of the Cave Darlok gave them way back when.. So he probably isn't the ideal choice to lead our men against those monsters...
Hagen von Rabenfeld is the best choice by far, but that isn't very good. Like Rosa said Hagen isn't a military leader and I don't think Hagen would be experienced enough, I would want someone wiser and stronger, like Aragon is anyone.
Shukk is the leader of a guild dedicated to the god... I don't recall her name, but he doesn't sound like a leader for an army. A preacher doesn't make a warrior.
Grimbard I think is a dwarf, probably part of the Clan of the Axe, but I have never heard of him.
I don't like any of the canidates.. And how does this concern us? Will let march us into battle? Because I don't want to, and we are safe on our own island. I thought we left Lyrenzia. We are safe as long as we have Crosis and Drathe watching out borders. So I don't see how this concerns us.

Halfling friends,
Know me is no longer with Darloks. Me has been thinking of its long, and now me shall say it. He gives cave away, and no do anything with clan after he use Skulls. My alliance is no longer withs hims. And You, Grant...No underestimate mes. That all me says to you.
What wills you does if the Horde reach your island gates? No matter how much yous no wants to fights, which none do, you has to, for the good of island and yous lands, and peoples too. There will be loose, but we must be strong. Brendan, thank yous for putting faith in me. Me must go now friends.

My dear friends,
After finishing my farming for the day I was carrying my bag of grain back to our village to store my crop I took a heavy fall and injured my leg. I'm sure it won't take long to heal and for now I shall be resting in my old mate Haddy's house, which I'm sure he won't mind while he's away. I hope to see you all soon when I am better.
Yours,
Hermie.
((ooc: I won't be online for a while due to technical problems with loss of items and skills after the sever went down yesterday. I have sent a PM to Shi'voc and hopefully he can sort it out soon. Bye for now!))
