If you want it changed, do you have any suggestions? I would like to find something that everyone accepts, but it is kind of hard when all you get is "I think it should be changed."

Anyways, if we increase the Experienced Ranger to 3, then we'd have to make all the master titles 4, Elite Ranger 6, and we end up right back where we started.

About the rules thing, right now we only have the code, but I think we need more. It has been discussed before, but if we start making rules on how to act in situations, we become a police force. We can't become police unless it was decided by the whole community, which I doubt will happen.

@Srathrate & Setherioth:
Please don't post messages for the sole purpose of saying what another person has just said, since we end up with about five posts saying "Yeah, delete this spam!". It turns your posts into spam as well. Thank you.

Is there any reason why you have to get more authority for the higher tests? I don't see any at all, seeing as it does add up fairly quickly. As for the rules, apparently my initial description was not suitable. I meant it would be very general things. An example being, the Rangers cannot mount a full assault on a guild without this, this, and this happening. Also, Is anyone planning to come to out meeting on Febuary 8 at 18:00 GMT? I'd like to know so I don't show up all alone. We should meet near the shop if we decide to. Finaly, I strongly believe a new Rangers thread should be started, people tend to not look at very long threads.

Regarding Feb. 8, I won't know until the last minute but I will post here if I am going to be in town.

I like our long thread but i do see your point about people not reading the whole topic, if they read the first page and the last page, that would probably be fine but you never know these days.

Would it kind of be like a constitution Korwin?

Sincerely, Roke

Think about this situation. One person(A) completed two master tests, the elite, and scored 6 on the final test. This person would have an authority of 21. Person B completes 4 master tests and the elite test. His/her authority is also 21. Clearly, Person A should outrank them, but they are still the same. And this is still too much weight on later tests?

More to the point, the tests are judged on a scale of difficulty. For a normal person, is it that much harder to kill ten skeletons than ten scorpions? And then find someone in town only. But is making ten of each potion alot easier than finding a person anywhere on the map? I think so. That is why I proposed them the way they are. Proposed (note that this is not the way that is on the website). If you can agree on a different way, then we'll go with it. But it might be sort of hard to do this with only two people deciding.

Maybe we can actually get something decided at the meeting (there's a new thought...), since it won't rely on people reading the boards (Or maybe they read them and just don't respond.

Actually, that's 12:00 noon our time, so both I and Inioch Hope can't make it, we have other plans (and have had them for quite some time). Tomorrow (Saturday) is alright, but Saturday and Sunday are out for us. Good luck anyways!

Edit: See below.

Apparently either I or Inioch am totally out of time. I am fairly certain that the 8th is saturday... Anyway, I will go to the meeting, and hopefully someone will join me there.

Somehow my words just don't come out right ;)

I know it's saturday, and that's the reason we can't make it. I don't know if you want to keep the meeting or not.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I had the time to make it but I am having some difficulties with my computer, it has been narrowed down to the hard drive and it is going to be fixed soon. I should be able to get online Monday or Tuesday. So, what was discussed at the meeting?

Finally, the website should now work with all desktop resolutions (the logo at the top), except for 800x600 just being too small. It's all we need, more cosmetic features :D

Edit: The only side-effect is that the images now have a border when you click them...

It didn't go well. At the time it was suppose to be on only Safun was online. Shortly after it should have begun my internet ceased to function. Maybe we can try again another time.

Hello, I'm just posting to say nice work with the webiste, but, how do I turn off the music? Don't get me wrong it is very touching, yet after a few minutes of listening to it, it began to get on my wit.

You can always hit the 'Escape' key, stopping the music (and animations if there were any). I try to change the music periodically to keep it from getting on people's nerves. Maybe it is due for a change...

Also, I see the little text icon has disappeared... I wonder where it went? :?: :D Looking into it.

For now, the text only version is down (unless you want to type the address yourself). Also, since the music put in a few days ago was too loud, it has been changed.

Another meeting would be nice, but maybe 2 weeks notice is in order, not just a day or two.

BTW: Website should be more "browser friendly" now (For lower resolutions), since the top frame will be smaller. Oh, and the background was also changed. Hope everyone likes it :)

Well considering your time zones aren't that far apart, I think you'll run into each other all together eventually if you all just went into Illarion more often. But I guess maybe some of you must too busy these days.

Actually, Korwin, Inioch, Roke, and I are in the same time zone, so it shouldn't be hard to organize. But we hope to get some of the other members there, which are not in the same time zone. The only trouble is that some of us aren't online a whole lot (I'm not going to say I've been too busy, I just haven't gotten around to it), so we really need to plan a time and place. How about March 8 at 3:00 Central (still trying to figure out the other time zones, daylight savings time makes things so complicated ;) )

Thanks Morgaine!

So here's what I propose:
1:00 PM Pacific
3:00 PM Central
5:00 PM Atlantic
9:00 PM GMT

Or maybe it should be an hour or two earlier...
