Well, it would depend how long it took him.
I think if anyone is doing an action for half a game day or more, than they should receive a message of "urgently need to rest", because currently it is based on the rate of skillgain, so Skaalib can smith all day and all night with no message.

Why care so much? People have been going on like this for as long the game has existed I supose, but I can't see that this is a big issue ingame.

And another point I would make, a multi-skilled crafter has perhaps, 4 or 5 skills he will learn. A mage has 6 skills to learn if they learn magic resistance. How come there are never calls for mages to specialize in a particular type of magic? And fighters, they will learn 4 aswell.
It seems to me crafters are being a little picked upon.

Mages having to specialise would be great.

The academy will only teach a few skills, not all.
+ it'd take for ever for a mage, far more than it would for a crafter.

One question about quality of items:

I recently wanted to get rid of some crafts I made at very low skill which are of a bad quality.
The day after I looked at the quality of the items I wanted to keep -> They were bad, or worse quality.
Now, inexplainable wonderful and mysterious, a few hours later they were of a good quality but still not the same as they were in the beginning!

Can items change their quality in the depot or am I drunk?
