#me tosses a dagger at his legsArameh_ wrote:How do you expect to catch someone if you dont attack him?
#me fires an arrow at his legs
#me tackles him (PUSH)
#me kicks him in the legs
#me makes a grab for his cloak

Some peopel respond to them, like that halfling theif.. (sorry man, forgot your name)
exactly, whats-his-face the orc did a #me grabs him 5 blocks away. in the new client, (luckily) you cant ype while walking, you shouldn't have to stop to type, which is what he did, and I wasn't going to just stop because his stretchy arms got me. I respond to them, I let Alexander struggle with me before, very few of my victims chase me though, but I respond to them.
Gm arent on 24/24 h, and most of the time they cant do much than a warning. Peoples will ALWAYS run if they have something valuable to lose. Ive seen peoples running off when 4 peoples hold them, they just have to #me kicks them all and runs off and make their jackie chan thing. So in fact thats why everyone makes what they want and kill any unarmed peoples they want. Because they know they cant be catched, so they do it and say "i got nothing to lose". I made a formula, which i think is not that complicate.
Agility + food bar + healt - (cloches weight/strenght) = Running speed
Constitution + food bar - (carrying weight/strenght) = Endurance (time to get exausted)
Agility + food bar + healt - (cloches weight/strenght) = Running speed
Constitution + food bar - (carrying weight/strenght) = Endurance (time to get exausted)
Oh well, i need a GM advice, here is the formula again...
Agility + food bar + healt - (cloches weight/strenght) = Running speed
Constitution + food bar - (carrying weight/strenght) = Endurance (time to get exausted)
Also, this is a basic formula, agility would change the speed more than food bar as example, and the / means a division. Example:
18 agi + 10 FB + 10 HP - (200 wei/18 str)=
38 - (11)= 27 of running speed
I think this would pretty logic.

I know how illarion code works, and yes, it is definitely implementable, again, i just dont know how hard itll be (it depends on if agility actually matters right now or not).Arameh_ wrote:Oh well, i need a GM advice, here is the formula again...

I'm not positive, but I don't think it makes a difference in terms of walking.falco1029 wrote:I know how illarion code works, and yes, it is definitely implementable, again, i just dont know how hard itll be (it depends on if agility actually matters right now or not).Arameh_ wrote:Oh well, i need a GM advice, here is the formula again...

In combat, that is a different story.
That is almost what I was thinking of!Arameh_ wrote:Oh well, i need a GM advice, here is the formula again...

But how should it be activated? I suggest the normal walking speed (like at moment, equal for everyone) and then an optional running mode (via keyboard...=).
