This is NOT the case of nonspammers being the minority, on the contrary I believe. It doesn't take a majority to create a topic with thirty pages in two days, rest assured.

However, if you are annoying people, then yes. Definately minority rules then. Your right to spam is lesser than the right of others to be free of your spam.

Welcome back to the "in my eyes" method you've all been using to try and prove your points

Luckily we haven't seen any points from you yet. You cannot disprove me, and I am only being reasonable.

Please explain the "in my eyes" method, in more than 1 sentence, and without quoting the whole of the last post, which you have been doing since god knows when.

You start to realize your lack of arguments Sean.
Thats why you recall on making these useless assaults on the valid opinion of other users.

You dont like that a minority rules?
Why would you allow a minority to destroy the reason of the Off-Topic section then?

What he ment by that was, he can't because there isn't one.

My attention span seems to shorten when I am used to reading 1 or 2 (at most) sentences.

I hear alot of this "In my eyes" stuff,

In *MY* eyes, I think that not everybody is going to be what YOUR eyes want them to be.
This is the post where you started to claim that the opinions are invalid.
Afterwards you did not lose a word what exactly you mean with that.

On contraty, Caranthir even disproved you, but you still claim the correctness of your baseless assuption.

14. Forum
On the boards the rules 2,3,5,6 and 13 apply. On the Role Play Board and also the In-Game-Event Board only role play (and no OOC) is allowed. Additionally the rules 8 and 11 apply.
Rule number 6 being "No Spam"
Off-topic
Here you can post Illarion off-topic things.
Simple......Off topic for off topic subjects.....Not for spam. Don't ruin topics by spamming the hell out of them and don't make useless topics that begin as "Oh and I ate baked potatoes through my nose last night"
I fail to see the difficulty in this.

Frankly, Sean, although you do well enough not making points in an argument, you also lack validity. People have caught you in the middle of several lies in the past, and although you'll say that that's ancient history, it certainly doesn't add to your credibility.

When you have no argument at all, you back off into a corner and use old one liners which are normally reserved for bumper stickers.

When that fails, you use the fact that you backed off into the corner yourself to play the martyr.

You bring no points to the table, and when you try you fail from lack of credibility; you try to make up for it by again making no points and the cycle continues. At the end of the day, everyone but you will face the fact that you lost the argument.

As for Kasume, I have already brought up in another topic that he's more than enough trouble both in and out of game. The only real solution is that he straighten out his act, or, if there is any justice in Illarion, gets banned.

I almost feel guilty saying anything about Irania and Quinasa, because they seem like nice enough people, but they both seem to have one, big character flaw and that's a predisposition towards spam. Possibley it's genetic.

There we have it. The big four. Standing up against everyone else in defense of useless spam. My only advice is to pick your battles more wisely.

Why are you started this topic here and not at the Off Topic board?
What I see is that every topic turn around to 'you did this, you did that
you are a fool an I'm smart ...' an so stuff? Mysterios way to have
a discussion.

Topics without any sense will close!
Topics with racism stuff will close!

That is an incredibly stupid reason to dismiss opinions. I hate that argument.

Opinions are made for a reason, and certainly aren't without base. But rather than critically thinking about them, you dismiss them with "you're all wrong no matter what I do or do not say."

Edit: @Yakin

There was no racism, anywhere. Kasume is just living in his own little world.

Ack.

We're all tired of reiterating our (good) opinions. Go back several pages and reread until you have understood.

There are many things that are fun, and spam might be one of them, for other people. But that gets in the way of the fun for those who hate rereading nonsense.

It ruins the fun of others.

So, simply, don't do it.

Sheesh.

Care to point out your argument first?

In case you did not understand Bootheartes:

Spam, if you want, but do it where it does not disturb the reading flow of other users. (Eg.: Testboard)

Now your turn.

Okay, again, just in case your mouse is somehow unable to hit the scroll up button.

It ruins the fun of others. So, again, don't do it!

This isn't a "I like ketchup, so you're wrong for liking mustard" argument as you WANT to see it.

It's an argument involving what to do about a nuisance. Get it?

(Off topic edit: @Darlok - Boothearte? )

No, it ruins the fun for YOU.

If it ruins the "fun" for others, why do so many people enjoy it?

I have no argument, I made this topic to state my oppinion, not make a debate, which you all seem to think I tried to do.

Yes. Ruins the fun for me, and the players of Darlok, Caranthir, Moshker, Brendan, Arkadia, and others.

But if the spamming were stopped, whos fun would it ruin?

Nobody's.

And if nothing would be done about it, the players mentioned above would still be irked, while three, maybe four youngsters treat it as a mindless chat, that they can easily do on THOUSANDS of mediums besides Illarion.

We only choose to debate because you choose first. You chose a topic with an opinion that many disagree with. There's a reason why at least 6 people are debating against you, and illogical to say that it's everybody's fault but yours.

It just doesn't ruin the fun for "US"...

It also ruins the fun for other people whom have not posted here. These people don't post every day, or even view the forums every day, but when they do, they're forced to cut through the vast amounts of horrible posts that have invariably popped up overnight.

I dont even really find chatting as spamming, posts like "SPAM SPAM!" is spam, posts with people talking, isent spam, as its not nonsense, but rather a conversation. Spam is nonsense, or useless, to all, so technicly, if one person is reading a post, and enjoying it, that you classify as spam, your the one in the wrong.

Prove my statement wrong, and I'll give you a cookie.
