First of all, Crosis, please change my status on the website, because i am active.
I have been on a long month excursion, taking a vacation. I am now back to work...
We need to get back on track!
- What is our ingot goal?
- How many People are now active?
- have we or are we going to have a festival?
We all need to work hard for some money! We (hobbits) need to get a better reputation, as we have sort of a "violent" reputation in the past according to some people.
Also, since the Animals are back, we must be able to be in proper shape to defend our town. There are many new people here, who are not very strong. We must be sure and try and help them not get demolished by the monsters.
Have we had a festival? if not, we need one soon.[/list]

To Ganidor and Brumba: The council is voting on your joining. We will get back to you withen a week.
First of all, Crosis, please change my status on the website, because i am active.
Done.
What is our ingot goal?
We talked about around 2000.
How many People are now active?
Since it's summer, people have things to do, places to be. So I don't really have an anwser for this.
have we or are we going to have a festival?
We had one already.

I agree, we should especialy help the members who are new. I have much armor and weapons that are just gathering dust in my depot, if any members need suplies don't be afraid to ask.

Hello everyone,
Sorry I haven't been active in the past few weeks and so, I have been having internet problems. I would also like to appologise for my behaviour at times, I got pissed a couple of times and thought it would be a good idea to play

Anyway, that only happens once in a blue moon.
Also, in 7 days I will be away for a week on holiday. After that I should be on more regularly.
Hope to see you in game this week, folks!

Goodie, are we still planing on buying that plot of land near the tavern? I suggest we do then we have a location to build our home and it is a nice plot of land and I am sure the cooperative farmers guild will want ot donate to buying it.

Bummy I don't know if we would be allowed to buy it.
Ganidor was accepted to the guild.
Brumba was accepted to the guild.
Dromar Mugworth was accepted to the guild.
Frodo Scarlett was accepted to the guild.

Why can't we buy it? I checked the Lyrenzia deed thingy and no one owns it. We should talk to Lyrenzia and see how much they want for it then buy it.

I am well aware that this section is for members of this guild, however I must say that I do not think buying the land near the tavern would be fair to everyone else. Think of it... there are few areas even near town that would be suitable for planting and to own that sect of land would be detramental to the other folks of the town.
Yours,
Alun T. Terod

Considering us Evergreen Halflings and the Cooperative Farmers Guild are really the only people who are farming most of the time, I think it is fair that we buy this plot. Plus, if someone ever steals/burns our crops we would then be able to charge them further with Lyrenzia's courts.
And just because we owned it doesn't mean we wouldn't share it.

Just where exaclty 're you talkin' 'bout this land? Ar' ye talking about the great farmin' spot i use by de' tavern?

Actually Bumbol, as long as I have lived in this land, I have done all my farming in that location. I still do, fairly frequently. I know of others as well who do this and may become upset if the land were owned by some guild. I do not think it is right to claim it fair for you to purchase such a widely used section of land. That would be like buying the town center. You really cannot own it, for you could not remove people from such a widely populated area. Alun has a point; buying the land near the tavern would not be fair to everyone else. And if you are willing to share it, then you have no basis for buying it, since that is what people have been doing for the longest time.
Also, taking someone to court for crop burning? People like that need to be physically punished, not locked away for a day or being exiled for two days...

Their isn't exile anymore, just jail.
Well, I still say we should purchase that land because we need a place that is ours and a place where we can make our hobbit hole.
