Hmm...I see. I understand what you mean. Ok how about a quest through Demon cave to try to find a solution to some of the problems we've all been having? (by the way has anyone made it to the back of demon cave.

Kasume, just to add to some of the good advice you've just recieved. I felt a similar way to you a while ago. Then, one day, a building ruin apeared to the west of town. A few people got together to explore the mystery and I tagged along. The only monsters were in our imaginations, there was no 'real' treasure and no experience gained. But I can say, hand on heart it was the best time I've ever had on Illarion. Yes we got into a couple of muddles as people ad-libbed their way through but it was great. find some other bored people, have a rough idea of where you're going and what you're doing then go for it. If it doesn't work out the first time learn from your mistakes and try again. If you look at the RPG section of the forum you'll see some people on an adventure without even playing the game

Short answer: nothing.
Whats wrong with climbing the Mount Everest? Nothing.
What´s wrong with a fight man against alligator? Nothing.
What´s wrong with you? Nothing. You just seem to be incautios. Hey, it´s a RP game... demons? *ring, ring* Demons are big, mean creatures that draw your soul into nothingness with just a sulfuric smile on their face. And they enjoy cleaning their teeth with your bones.
Oh, there´s a cross? What a luck. Permanet death would be fine in some cases.

"Oh, mummys. They make good thread..." Such things are ruining the game. Monsters should be respected and feared.
Hmmm maybe some monsters do not scare a person? They may look frigtening...but I mean you do get used to it. Like your grandmother
Another thing. How the heck did we get to the topic of this starting with vocations? I am quite boggled by this.
And I must agree.....smithing makes the game boring.

Although mining tons of STUFF is fun...somehow....
And maybe you should try using a sheild instead of two weapons. A shield can block attacks and can make you live longer.

I know I should use a shield but sometimes the best offense is the best defence and vice-versa.

Dracon laughs
It means that you deliver a powerful blow to your enemy before he can strike back.

Hmmmm...That usually wouldn't happen mostly because you and the monster go at each other at same times. So...if they successfully hit you then you get screwed and run. Although with a monster. They won't run. Just hit you as many times as possible. Which will make you go down. Hitting them hard before they even hit you is good. Why not use a shield and get good at defending yourself and then get good with a weapon. Then you can hit the monster hard and be able to defend yourself.

Wrong, different weapons have different recoil recovery time. In other words, say I swing my axe and I hit the enemy or miss. Then at that moment i need to pick up my axe and then prepare to swing again. Now though, I have found out that unarmed fighting is pretty effective because I can deliver about 2 punches per second. Also now I can devestate weak oppents since I now have 2 dwerfen axes. So now I have no reason for a shield while i'm training aginst 1 zombie.
