In this case, according to you, Cain, Paul would be the leader. I think that needs no further explenation.

John, your post is nonsense. I checked all the dictionaries and not one said a foundation needs a leader. But perhaps it does. THEN DO YOU KNOW WHO LEADS IT?! A COUNCIL FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I DON'T CARE WHAT OTHERS SAY A FOUNDATION NEEDS. I'M TELLING YOU WHAT THIS FOUNDATION NEEDS!! Sheesh. Okay, to be a merchant, you have to own a business or belong to a merchant guild. See? Simple.

Well I said according to Cain, and Cain wrote:
Foundations always have some sort of leader... In most cases, the leader is the founder of the ...uhm.. foundation.

how do you propose to stop the underselling?
I doubt it is possible.

I'm not going to stop it, but if most merchants join, there won't be as many people doing that. See?

An attempt at something like this has already been made-SMACC. And it has not worked as well as planned...I for one, will not make my prices as dictated by some "merchant guild". I as a master tailor like to give my own prices. Every piece of work I create is different and I attach prices accordingly, and I would highly dislike my prices to all be the same as "dictated". I always give my customers prices that I believe is fair and good for both sides, and no "merchant guild" will stop that.

Oh and Paul, how can you try forming a foundation, council, dictatorship.... whatever when you belong to a guild, "The Bargain MAsters" which sell their items way under-value. At least Elaralith sells her tailored items at resonable prices for herself, the customers and the other tailors...

I'm sure that the guild would pick reasonable prices if reasonable prices were set.
