Yes. Besides, aren't Druid's supposed to be (Roughly) light-magic mages that heal/nature people that brew potions? The only thing I think that's worth asking for Druid's though would be the fog-rune, not in the form of a potion, otherwise annoying thieves would start getting their hands on them (Or making Druid's the prime-customer to rob,Thrym wrote:That's what I was thinking, but I'm way too much of a coward to say it. ^_^Retlak wrote:Magic is way too overpowered.

Regardless, okay, this was apparently the wrong thing to propose. I don't really want people to get mad at each other over it, so lets just call it dead.
Nature Magic/Druid Magic

You shouldn't have to close anything. But you should at least say whats and why's to proposals you make. Thrym, you seem at least willing to think on things. There are pletny of things that'd be nice to have but we aren't going to get unless we all become dev's.
It's just the senseless trolling posts of typing just to type and providing nothing that start the flames going. The people who post them know who they are. Don't close your topics because of them.
In the end I agree Druid magic needs some nice perks, right now all druids are just craftsmen. they aren't able to do much of anything due to many of the reasons i stated already. I'd like to see more active druids rather then most players just having a 'spare' druid to test the system out with. which is why i mentioned making simple, quicker easy make potions for PVE and PVP situations. then maybe we'll see some druids out in the sunshine so to speak

So you would completely overwrite the current druidic system just to make a fog rune and a healing spell?wolfsword wrote:Yes. You have already full heal potions, and a fog potion could come in handy aswell.
If you think thieves could get them, sell some other potions and hire guards. I am sure there is a menercaries guild out there willing to do the job.
By the way thieves have not that much to do anyway. Mostly they get about 5 copper from robbing one out...
I mean, what you want is a rune system making mages out of the druids, and this is somehow crap.
They already have the unique ability to brew potions who do alot. No mage can (as far as i know) transform another person or himself so a golem.
Like the ones before me said, in Illarion mages have runes, casting spells, and druids brew potions.
Feel free to RP some ritual f.e. you have a wild wolf as mate you turned "good" and made him your companion ect.
But IG druids will get no runes ever.

My Character has had a very hard time getting simple antedotes and heals from so called neutral druids. They have power to decide if they are going to sell to you or not and ALL ask the intentions...
Its antedotes and healing potions....Inquired about wind potions and polish...Still run around. Took 6 weeks to find a druid that could make antedotes that agreed to sell my char a few.
To me...druids have power.

As far as i see it, a druid's version of neutrality is to keep everything balanced, as opposed to not taking a side.Joxia Doral wrote:Yes, when they claim neutrality.Jupiter wrote:Is it surprising that someone thinks very closely about if he seels to temple members?
But back to topic, a lot of things discussed in this thread, yeah, druids should get more power and mages should be nerfed a little.
I dont think so.
Everyone has his own power. Mages can cast spells. Bad mages dont harm anyone, cause their spells cant damage alot (at least the beginner ones). Good mages are strong.
Its like a swordsmen. In the beginning, he kills mummies and skeletons and even dies doing it. Later on he kicks liches ass.
Druids can brew more and more potions, and their potions are needed alot. And they are quite expensive to a char who isnt earning well money.
They are not just to harm people, they are to mix drinks and give them to people who deserve them. Their potions have effects no spell ever has.
As for me, the druids are strong enough. The mages are strong, yes, but thats the outcome of a very long and difficult to play character.
They have some power, but are no gods. If they are good in INTESSWILL they have a weak body and will fall after some hits.
If they have stronger bodys the spells are not that effective.
Why weaken them? Druids are not to make damage, and they never should be. So you cant compare druids powers with the spell power of mages and say druids are too weak. They are complete different.
They could add some more potions, thats right. But thats all.
