Hmm, that is rather odd. Maybe the dwarf who spoke to us was not really coming in the name of Goldburg.

Hail!

I met with Chris, and decided to reschedule for one dwarven week.
Goldburg Job Posting #1:
One dwarven week and we will hunt a treasure map.
((Next Saturday 2pm CST ~ 9pm GMT)).
Lets meet at the Tavern in TrollsBane.

In the meantime, I do require 1-2 of your 'novice' warriors to do a small task for me. It's good for training.

Goldburg Job Posting#2:
I require 75 Pieces of Parchment. As far as I know, only mummies drop this from their bandages. Collect 75 for me and recieve 10 silvers for the work. Time needed - 2 Dwarven weeks.

Thank you,
~Chester Copperpot

Posted up on the wooden board is a large sheet. It appears to be blueprints of some sort.

Image

Dearest Grovestriders,
Posted here is the rough blueprints of a small hideout that could be built without a large ammount of funds. We still will not be able to build for a while yet though, so any additions proposed could be funded before the plans are submitted to a builder. I will calculate the costs after an agreement is made between the members and have it up on the guild board in a short time. This little stronghold would be built into the side of a mountain -most likely the Northern ones- so that it could be easily locked and also expanded via more tunnels. Post any ideas under this blueprint, so that they may be openly discussed. This guild is very quickly becoming quite large and reputable, and my thanks goes to all of you.

I feel at home inside burrows, it would be better if it wasn't mountain, but good idea nontheless.

Many thanks Shingo! I hope it eventually comes to be. It would be great having it for the nearby mines also.

It would be a harsh area because of the wolves, bandits, and goblins, but then again, why would you be in our guild if you weren't harsh? I lived at the small hut in the northern woods practically for months, so I won't have a problem. Also, we can take over the northern mine, much the same as the dwarves have, and charge for entry. I very much like the location.

However, we would only be allowed to charge if we let outsiders use our quarters, which I don't know if I am in agreeance with.

Dear Gregor,

Speak with Mister Lorian and find the price for the building of your area. I shall fund it with the excess materials that I have in my possessions.

Signed,
Sir Julius Rothman
Knight of Kallahorn

Aye, thank you for your input Shingo. I fully agree, what do practical bandit killers have to fear of bandits? The position would most likely not be used to collect a toll, but rather to offer guard services to passing caravans. After all, I have heard stories of caravans running into wolves at night.

And to you, good Sir Julius. It is very generous of you to offer donations. I shall talk to Lennier regarding my price estimate. Once it is approved, I will immediately speak with you regarding your kind offering. I am very gratituous of your aid.

We are really starting to proceed as a prominent guild. Thank you all dearly.

Hiho,

We have determined a date for the caravan. It will be leaving on the:

17. Siros 25 18:00:09 ((3:00 pm GMT+2 on July 23th.))

I hope we can still count on your protection and that the time is suitable for you.

Yes, you can ideed count on those who have applied. Mayhaps it would be a good Idea to send them all a dove beforehand. I will, unfortunately, be absent for the next few days ((camping with some family for about 3 nights)) I wish everyone good luck on the assignment, and hope that my fellows perform to your satisfaction, my friend Phillibald.

Be well everyone,

way up north an elder barbarian listens to one of his spies.

"so you say, that you heard at borgate's, that a group of warriors is going to settle near the north mine?"

"yes, my Jarl, that is what rumors state."

he dismisses the man, takes out a skin and labourously writes on it.
after finishing this hard intelectual task, he calls a warrior.

"take this, and nail it somewhere near the entrance of the northmine.
very visible.
this side must be up."

half a day later this is hanging on a tree near the entrance of the mine:
To whom it concerns!
we, the Nordmarkers, will be wellcoming neighbours to our east.
but we lay claim to free access to the northmine.

On his way to hunt goblins up north, Shingo runs into the note. Having not brought a piece of parchment with him, or a quill for that matter, he simply heads into the mine and grabs a loose piece of coal. In sloppy, big letters he writes beneath the note:

We graciously accept your welcome and would never dream of charging you or your people Tjalf.

We graciously accept your welcome and would never dream of charging you or your people Tjalf.
Juliana walked toward the north wanting to try a weapon out with the gnolls and stops to look at the posts tilting her head. Shrugging she turns away mumbling "sounds like there will be a charge for others" but appearing unconcerned quickly continues on her route with a small grin.

I am not currently available for any job offers, as I am very busy working on a new idea for the guild. Please contact me with any questions or assisstance anyone needs. As for the position of Captain I place one vote for myself Slazf. I also wish for you to post the rules for voting as people within the guild are not sure who to vote for or what is really required of the one in the captain position. Please make this all clear for everyone.
