Nay. Tis just logic. They will be required to change from the Drow armor down to something that resembles in some way the other's armor. This can only be used by a person once during the tournament. Next time, they will have to fight the man with the overpowered armor and weapons, who hides behind such things.

There is no way poisoned weapons can be allowed... That is just insanity.

If someone gets poisoned, well, the poison of swords are not too
dangerous, will he be healed by the mage around in or after the fight?

Mister Rothman,
Owner of the Arena,
Tournament director,

I believe you are suppose to be coming up with a time to have this tournament of yours.... are you going to give it or as with everything else rely on other people to tell you what to do?

The tournament has been postponed to a later date due to the non existent support of the island's fighters.

I have spent the last few moments pondering on why people did not join. I came up a with small list:

Equipment - Many people wanted to join with their best armor and weapons. The rules made it were those people decided not to join. I will now make two different forms of the single tournament. One controlled Tournament with the current laws and the other a no holds bar death match everything goes type of thing. This will be heavily monitored and some rules will be implanted.

Entrance Fee - 3 silvers is a lot of money for some one that has no chance of winning. The price will be taken down to 2 silvers.

Partners - I will add a new section of the tournament for Partners or Tag Team competition.

Awards - I will attempt to add more

All those that have all ready signed up, please send me a dove to tell me which type of tournament you choose to join.

Thank you,

Mister Rothman,

The problem isn't that people aren't interested in a regulated tournament because I do believe there was one about a year ago where Jorokar won the open tournament or the sword tournament. The problem is people don't want to follow spineless, please everyone, kind of leader. Grow a backbone tell people what the rules are and stop trying to please everyone, every time you change the rules for someone you are hurting another. If you can't come up with your own ideas why not do some research on what does work? The last tournament had quite a few combatants with even more spectators and it had some appeal to not only the champion but also other skilled combatants as well.

((in other words might want to get some gm support for your tournament, I am sure they would supply some decent prizes or even help you make it a quest, just a suggestion))

Sladrir beat someone ten times greater than himself with magic blades last time. For some reason these were allowed and yet drow blades weren't. The last year's rules were stupid.

No magic and not magical weapons, no potions, no drow weapons, no poison weapons.

Those rules would be enougth to make it as fine and fair battle. In addition you could offer the armors that have to be used. This would make the battle even more fair. Then the skill of the warriors are really visible.

This would be enougth for me to join. A fair fight is worth more then every payment or price.

I have given the isle some time to join in on this tournament. In this time I gave you, I did not receive one dove regarding the tournament. This is a chance for the island's towns to show each other their strength. I will give every town one day to send me a dove. If this does not happen, mine will find you.

If nobody wants to fight what is the point of trying to force them? The rewards aren't exactly great, a little bit of silver?
