I have visited all homes of guilds, which are listed here in the linksection.
After the puplic informations, given there, and the rules for the guild council, the following guilds will get seats:

Order of the Grey Light: 2
Circle of the Grey Rose: 2
Magic Academie: 2
Ironhammer: 1
Rangers: 1
Titannen: 1

The other guilds/schools, listed there, have to less members or doesn't exist long enough.
Please correct your informations, given on your homepages, if they have changed.

hey ara what about me even though my guild has gone through namechanges i still have members from the original which means that i have been opertaing since novembers end and still operating i meet requirements for at least one seat (i will not ask for more but i am the one who started this whole GC thing, not not started it alone i did have influence from many who have treid to no avail before however i am the one to make it work with an unknown meeting and a small turnout for the first time and the last meeting was a renouned sucess), thanks to all the leader and reps who atteneded last meeting i hope to see some or all of you at this one as well maybe gurok will show this time? time will tell!

@sean: You haven't given us a way to verify how long your guild has existed. And frankly, we've never heard anything from any members of your guild except you, so its very hard for us to believe that a "guild" ever existed.

i beliveLeif knows the guild existed and Crom Fayr knew the guild existed and of course my leader and valued warroir silentgun who formed it.

We have never even heard anyone from your "guild" ever speak out except for yourself.

As I said in my earlier post, I have looked at all homepages, located in the linksection of illarion and from this informations I get there on the sides, I have set up these seats for the guilds. I haven't found there any informations about the Prätorian Garde.
Also I wasn't able, to get informations about the amazone tribe, the bloodskull clan and the shadowen empire, cause they haven't got any visible memberlist or pages.
And as we have said before, a guild must also have a HP, where members are listed, to be noticed for the guild council.

A guild is defined as official guild with a council seat when following requirements are met :

homepage with public member list ( Different Characters of one player MUST NOT be listed in the same guild )

Furthermore :

one month of age and at least 6 PUBLIC members for one seat
two months of age and at least 12 PUBLIC members for 2 seats

Html isn't the only way to make a website. If you really have a guild that is active playing Illarion, then at least one person should be able to take that time to figure out to make a website.

@PK: Did I ever say you HAVE to use html? Research what? I already KNOW that there are groups out there who consider themselves to be a guild, but they don't qualify for a seat because according to the guild council because they have NO hompage. So think before YOU speak and stop barking out your stupid comments. Maybe if you stop bitching to get a seat just because you want people to hear your" i know so much and i think my ideas are so important", you might save what little's left of your reputation. If you don't like it then go start your own council.

@anyone who doesn't like the idea that a guild needs to have a homepage: then make a BETTER suggestion as how to prove how long the guild existed and see their members.

PLAIN FIGHTING IS NOT THE ONLY WAY TO KILL PEOPLE!!!! If you make these threats, Dyluck will have you dead before you notice that he is there! What would it take to kill you... lets see... i am sure any good mage could do it in about 3 or 4 hept kels or less against you, since you used all your attribute points on strictly fighting skills not essence! Even with a max bow skill, you couldn't hit someone wearing their shields with a decent parry! Magic is a distance weapon, so you wouldn't have a chance to engage with swords, so Dyluck would definately have you dead. Think about these threats before making them. Just because you walked up to the game and powergamed to max parry doesn't mean you can go bossing the elder players around! That is NOT what the admins want in a ROLEPLAYING game!!!!

(sorry for off topic)

And the webpage rule is a good idea. Honestly, how hard is it to make a simple webpage like mine??? You dont even have to know anything for god sakes! The program i use is just like a word processor!

@Dyluck just wondering Aragon sayes that from lass check you had enough people to have 2 seats but i looked at the member page and found lots of the people on the list to be inactive If you want i can name a few that should be removed from your list.

there is new iventions called EMAIL and telephone that a website is only for show
someone could forget on a website to update it

@Hope: Yes i know some of them are inactive, but excluding them I still have enough to meet the requirements. Also we have no standard of what is active yet and as mortals we have no way of checking this standard even if we had it. Bror is the only one who could check for us.

@sean: email and phone....can you be more specific in explaining how that helps the PUBLIC know about your guild and how long it exist?

Do you mean YOU phone and email all your members and then YOU tell us that you meet the requirements for a seat and then we all believe you, even when we have no proof to see, because we all trust you so much?

Or do you mean you tell the email and phone of your members somewhere and expect everybody who wants to verify them to hunt down the list of emails and phone numbers because its not in the links, and then email and phone them (oh phone bill is no problem, only half way across the world) just so we can know about your guild?

Note the sarcasm in the above 2 questions.

The MOST effective thing about the Link to a Guild Webpage requirement is that it PROVES to the public we can ALL SEE that the guild has existed for AT LEAST the amount of time ever since the day the Link was put up. Else we have only the word of the guild leader to find what is the minimum amount of time the guild has existed

acutally dyluck i think you need to learn a new word TRUST you will have to TRUST other guild leaders instead of ordering them around. This is not why I made the first meetings and why I have made the guild council work. You are creating conflict. Awebsite is just for show and is useless as email or phone because you can do the same thing, madeup names,inactives,not updated frequantly. You would have to trust a website to. and i want to hear more about this fact that you seem to have an inactive problem.
you could just ask members in game dyluck. If its not past your bedtime!

We have make these decisions on the last meeting, set up the rules for the seats and one rule there was, that guilds must have a HP.
This was said on both of the last meetings and noone has said something against it!

@Astral, Besides in an open terran where the guild meetings is held, you think he can see me before I can see him? We have equal amount of hiding skills if there is such colomn. Infact, I'm suggesting that I know how and where to hide better then ANYONE of you. If you think he can hept kel me in three or four, you'd make yourself a total fool! I've stood up over little pathetic magics plenty of times, what makes you think that his'll be of any difference?

He cannot hurt me with magic or force unless we fight in an open area, and I won't be in an open area with him unless it's the guild meeting. Which makes him look like a complete pk to those that doesn't click af fast. if I don't start to attack him first.

I'm sure he'll care about his lil rep. anyways...

And forget the phonenumbers. Only a list of members is good, then i can say who is aktiv or not. btw your first member from your pretorian guard ( pretorian ), was only a few days here. He was last seen at the 11/30/01 ;-)

And a other point is, I hear too a lot "i" from you. It sounds egoism to me. This is the reason why i dont like the idea Pretorian Guards as townguards. Cuze of that point, of a few, i have spoken against the townguards.

Sean, there are many guides on making html sites. A very easy way for example would be :
Download StarOffice for windows (or get one of these CDs with it) it's free.
Install that, and then create a new html document.
StarOffice has great abilities creating HTML pages, and it usually has a good help documentation. With it, you will be able to create simple and good-looking webpages in no time and without knowing HTML (in fact, it is a WYSIWYG- editor). Of course you can switch to HTML editor, by that, you will see some great HTML examples and what they do.
Then, sign up at a free provider service.

Then, simply download a free or shareware ftp client, like bluezone ftp or wsftp (simple ones). Log in at your webspace provider with the name and password you got (watch out with the password the 1 looks like the small L sometimes ). There you will see your FTP directory (and the local server path you need for CGI scripts, but you wont need it now). Put in that FTP directory and server name into your FTP client, and then connect. Fill in user name and password, and there is your web directory. Delete the index.html if there is one.
Then, mark the files you want to upload. Upload them. Name the main page (the one you want all visitors to enter when they enter your site) "index.html".

You can simply create a List with staroffice, a title over it saying that it's your guild webpage, name that thing index.html, and upload it. You can enter only text, and play with text formats and background colors.

If you want more, there are plenty html guides on the web. Enjoy it =)

Your calling magic "pathetic" proves how you know nothing on how the game works! Any mage such as me or Dyluck have a great advantage over you in combat. You become paralyzed, then you get ice bolts driven into you. Simple. But you would probably just log out like a coward anyway! Here is another way! @sean: trust? anybody can just come up and claim to be a guild and then we get a big mess.

Personally I don't believe you have a guild. I don't think anybody else can name other members of your guild except for you, Preatorean Denethor (made only short appearance then never heard of again), and Kolpi (accused of provoking many people in order to get a screenshot to say others are killers and rumored to be another character of yours).

But don't worry if I trust you, do you think all the other people will trust YOU? I trust you very little but its already more than how much many others trust you.

Dyluck i frankly dont give a damn in hell if you trust me or not, you saved my life twice or more and i saved yours once, yes? also i did make the idea work but the combined force made it stick in fact you werent even at the first meeting were you? no you didnt trust me. frankly i think maybe some of your students are made up as it takes alot of students to make 2seats. also peacekeeper decided she would log in at the balcony to make sure she gets in so i will repost the new spot for the meeting and the new time Sunday for the meeting i am postponing it as i have a meeting tommorow with one of my members. yes dyluck i said MEMBER. also his name is not even posted for security reasons but if he gives me the right information i will promote him. and now on to repling to others posts.

It's pretty obvious here that the Magic Academy, Knights of the Grey Rose, Order of the Grey Light, School of Combat, and Rangers all agree that a guild needs to have a hompage listing members to have a seat, and only you disagree because you don't have a homepage.

Hello, just a few comments:

1) Sean I don't believe you have a guild with enough active members and you do not meet the reguirements therefore(spelling)... you yourself should not have a seat
2)Kind of like previous but why do YOU automatically have a seat. We could have the meetings without you. (we have many people who could organize everything) and your behaviour has been dishonorable... even at late.
3) It seems to me that the guild council has not done a lot yet (key word yet)... maybe we need to have a more organized meeting and instead of talking about well in the future we can implement plans.

I know I will not be at the meeting but I know the school of Combat and the Rangers will be well represented (I do not know if I will become a "leader"/teacher at the school of combat) so I do not worry. I still think that I could have made a decent website for now which could be improved... Anyway thanks everyone.

ok fine so since i asked everyone to come to a secret meeting and proposed the idea with damien no one trusts me dyluck i belive 7or more showed up, just because you dont belive roke doesent mean i should belive tht any one else should have a seat, maybe if you werent so young you people would understand that when laying old atari games on an old tv with sattelite dishes that are fired to hell gets boring this is what i do in my spare time, and i make GFX if you hadent noticed but oh yes that was for nuaght to. Imagine if a hadent called that meeting dyluck? what would have happend? you and every other school/guild/clan would be at each others throats. Maybe i should go and ask many of my friends who have stayed by me since my early days to boycott meetings roke? or maybe i could wreak havoc on meetings? maybe i could show you how easy it is to tick someone off.

here is what i have to say.
When i looked at all of the failed attempts at something simmilar to the GC I knew it would or wouldent work after i called the first meeting and 7 or more attended and we set the groundwork together i understood. YYES there would be rules but to force even one guild to abide by those rule is not very fair, just beacuase all of you have time to all this stuff i am trying to make money working! forcing someones to abide by rules is against the perogtive of the GC and only make people more power hungry like Peace Keeper and Tal Rash. if you want to continue without me fine, but remember that i am t he one who called the first meeting and sir hope himself stood at the front of the room and said for all to hear "You dont know how much HOPE this brings to illarion" since then hope has changed his name, yes but it is still him who said those very words. but now all we bring is chaos and orders and rules for all this is not what i wanted! dont you see? this was for peace and your all making a mockery out of it like it is just a little sidegame from the big one! we have the power to do much and help illa but you must trust in each other and belive we can do it or we just look like fools in the process.
