Hail SMAC!
but what will we do to all those people who sell items at 1/6 of their worth, or throw them away!??

Hmmm.. simple. We just have to form a lynchmob. With enough people, they will know that it is meant serious.

SMAC (Smith and Merchant Association of Control) - I have a suggestion:
BLAMMP (BlackSmith and Lore Association for Merchant's Market Prices)
It sounds better to me, and makes more sense than just "control"
People who aren't informed may think we are a criminal organization.
Although that's just my opinion, I'm in for Smac or Blammp anyway we decide.
Heres a little list for prices I made:
Daggers:
20 gold: Bone dagger (Zombie-found dagger)
45 gold: Iron Dagger
60 gold: Mythril (?) Dagger (long-thin one)
Swords:
35 gold: Normal Sword (Zombie-found)
70 gold: Shortsword
75 gold: Edged Sword (White colored sword)
200 gold: Firesword
225 gold: Behander (2-handed sword)
Shields:
25 gold: Metal Shield 1
50 gold: Metal Shield 2 (black&white)
60 gold: Metal Shield 3 (colored)
80 gold: Round shield (dark grey circle shield)
These prices are pretty low, considering that all the newbies have to do is
smith 100 maces and they get a Firesword...
I personally think we need to enchant swords to get flameswords sooner or later...

Of course, if you can craft masterwork items, you are. That goes for smithing and carpentry as well as tailoring.

Errr, what do you think of the BLAMMP name? It sounds "Shocking" :cheesy:
And I think this thing will be much easier to pull off when we upgrade the smithing system, where we need certain amounts of ore for certain items.
Otherwise, as I said, all the newbies need to do is make 50 or 100 maces for a firesword.

@ Damien
Good!
But actually I never expected anything else...

It's just that it seems to me that women are a bit underrepresented in illarion.
I am indeed a master smith, so i think I fulfill the criteria

Hmm. Blammp sounds great too... what do you others think of it ?
SMAC (Smith and Merchant Association of Control)
or
BLAMMP (BlackSmith and Lore Association for Merchant's Market Prices)
?

or A.M.M.P.C
(Association of Merchants Market Price Control)
cause we price-control the other areas such as carpentering too, rigth?

By lore I meant wood and potions...
and Ammcp isn't say-able. Blammp! Smac! You can say them.
And, potions should be around 10 gold each, not 2 or 4!

It is easier to remember a short, "hitting" word. Like "SMAC".

I meant short 1 syllable/2 syllable words.
AMMPC is 5 syllables, and just more competition for BLAMMP and SMAC.
I think we should have a poll, BLAMMP or SMAC? (Blamp or Smack sounds like)
