My card ATI Rage 128 has 32 MB memory and is a very trouble making case in matter of the new client.

My experiences are, that it is hard to play at the current realserver. But i hope for the testserver. It seems it has a better connection to the new client (the clients runs very well at the testserver).

Therefore players with old graphic-cards are still able to play the old client and can still hope, that if the testserver get changed into the next realserver, that their machines are able to handle the new client too...

Folgendes Problem:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

The following problem:

File Download ran perfectly - if I now to play want come the map Gobiaths and then disappear her after short time again on No man's land - her closes.
That is not called I comes with the new client into the game.

Don't despair. Not all of the testers got the client to run right away, but most of the problems could be fixed.

But we won't get anywhere with everybody talking about all kinds of different problems and personal remarks in one thread. The "old-client" error has been asked and answered several times over.

Let's get this sorted out.

PS: I will not answer problems by PM for the simple reason that in a useful thread other people can get at useful information, too.

Why not make a separate thread with the problems that have already been fixed listed with how to fix them? That should help

... ??????? und wie stelle ich Grafikoptionen auf Minimum ??

Jetzt kam außedem Logged out by Server, Old Client Char. Yridia Anar

Belgram's settings worked for me. I was getting the black map screen with no changes, and totally white with just reduced grpahics and 16 bit.

Thank you mate!

The next sword that I learned for smithing came up in the submenu as nothing.

The last one I had learnt was drow sword I believe. I'll check what it came up in between if that helps.

EDIT: Comes up between rapier and drow blade.

Being particularly un-savvy, I'm having difficulty getting the new client to read my old name files, and map files. It is, however, updating the log file just fine.

Thanks to the setting suggestions on the first page, I can play it now, exept for a few things

1.I don't have a belt for some reason, If I do I don't know where it's located on the screen
2.I don't know where the Interaction section is...

Other than that I can play

(and I only started playing 5 minuets ago!!!)

Your belt is under the feet of your.... "man". That pic of the man on the right of your screen.

2. If by interaction you mean the area where you see and do stuff, its the whole left side basically. Where you see the people and buildings and ground.

Yelling that you have a white screen adn wishing your home comp wasnt stolen is not a question.

If you meant to ask "How do I fix the white screen I get?" Follow Belgram's option list. It should help.

ah, sorry, um ill answer here, the last dialogue is "The java webstart will now complete installation" or something similar, then it opens it up, but its blank, hangs, then eventually bluescreens. Im thinking its java's problem, combined with some nvidia driver issue.

Just a small graphics glitch: if you turn without first walking around after just logging in, you turn into a lizard :P I don't know if other people can see it or not
