I'm sorry. I didn't mean rare like flutes but rare as in very few people can make them, they are very hard to find and very expensive.

Can we not turn this into a "I know better than you" flame war about the game and try to find a solution to the problem in hand.

I base it on what I've seen and heard from other players.

The opposing side doesn't seem to think there even is a problem.

yes, the topic was the ooc explanations. so we should stay by that. so ya all have a problem with the "taking all weapons and armors away" part? is it that? and the other things are okay for ya?

That's a bit of an extreme exaggeration, Caranthir. There were never any hints dropped other than those that led straight to how things are now. The players were expected to make something from literally nothing. Such things are not possible.
Yes, they are. First thing you need to do, is to try something instead of scratching your arse and wondering why there is no neon-light arrow in the sky pointing where you need to go, and some dialogue-screen where you can choose what to say.;)

I didn't see you finding any alternative routes. Then again, your character is a councilor of Lyrenzia, so I guess that just shows where your choices went.
Willum wrote:I belive thats is Trols ban which makes no sence to me.
That's confusing. I thought that the war was against Lyrenzia. Actually, I'm positive that its against Lyrenzia, not the town itself.

Why do you still care of what is going on Grant? You quit the game..but you're still whining? Can you do anything but whining about everything?
Jeez you guys!
You all take it to seriously! You all take this conflict OOC ... you all make this game bad with you complaining!

There is a war in the game? So what? It's just a game...it's not like we're re-playing the Iraq-war or something ...

And as a reminder, not every char should be a superstar that can do everything ... You guys should learn it!!

Jeez that makes me mad!

By the way, I like the idea, Hagen, and it good that we have some OOC regulations to this war ...
Because it would be simple chaos without it ...

Oh no. My character took hardly any part into the solving of this quest, to be exact. There are also reasons and motives why not, but you don't have to know about them. But, as far as I know, there were several different means to solve this quest planned by the characters, but those were not taken to the end for one reason or another.

What I'm talking about, Grant?

Here, as a reminder:

By the way, it's Galina ...

Well, maybe Darlok can say someone else could have ended up with his castle, but really that isn't true. Only Darlok knew about the alter, only Darlok knew how to use it. Only Darlok had the resources to pull it off.
I am not saying Darlok didn't deserve it, Darlok does deserve to have gotten his castle, I mean, if Darlok were to ever use it, Darlok the character would be nothing, he would be hunted constantly with no safe zone.

But galina, I already did quit "complaining" about it. Listen, there is nothing wrong with questioning things, and I think I had a good point about why Lyrenzia shouldn't have simply been able to jail people the day it came into power.
And the players can say Lyrenzia was planned for months, but I doubt it. They should have had Lyrenzia come to power without the jailing powers, and then after a couple of months earned the right to jail and then built on from there.

And that is based on..? He would not have been hunted, if he had not broken the treaty with the Rose, etc.
The Altar was actually discovered by an expedition if I recall. I am certain, (we can ask for GM confirmation) that Darlok's defeat would have been one of the possible endings.

@Grants last post, wasn't that exactly what happened? And it was planned for months. Take my word as a player for it.

No, caranthir, Lyrenzia came out as a judging thing with instant access to jailings.

And another no caranthir, an expedition lead by Dyluck and a lot of other older players found Darlok worshipping the altar. But then they are fled or something when the Ogre King came.

I could have sworn that a large group of characters entered the cave and discovered the Altar, when Darlok or nobody else was to be found.

And:
Oh yes. Now I recall, we indeed did have the jailingpowers when the juidical system was launched, however we did have the "exile" punishment. It would have been a perfectly good punishment, if it wouldn't have been ridiculed by the convicts as your character, Grant.
I think I have stated before, that this particular behaviour is the reason why the current jailingsystem is what it is. So you dug your own grave.

You know Grant, I guess you just can't lose.
You always want to be right ...
Some things are just how they are. Stop questioning everthing. It's annoying for the ones that just want to play this game ... you understand me? Please just stop ...

Well, I already wrote i Have no problem with Hagen's proposal ooc. But again I tell ya that Hagen is counting his chickens before they hatch, I mean, there are still a lot of Movement men who would rather die then be in jail til the end of the war; which could last quite a while since Darlok the character will be stubborn and hard to kill. Even sieging his castle would take a long time.

@ Val de Gausse

I understand that you and some other people are angered because of your situation of beeing banned from the town of Trolls Bane. I speak out of experience in saying that it is very hard to play a villain and not getting caught. But what you and some others are doing here isn't fair anymore. Insulting the PO Hagen by comparing him with the communists etc. is not the way, I think the board isn't the place for flame wars and personal insults. And I'm sure he is willing to discuss the matter of taking away ALL your weapons in a constructive way if you are too.

I wonder why I never get an answer to this:

I didn't read that Caranthir, but that still doesn't prove anything. I really wouldn't mind prison times if Grobul's idea was implemented. Then it would feel less like "I have to get at least 2 hours off of prison time today" and move like "I could go hunting with Val on Grant today"...

oh,y es. you would go to jail with grant and would continue your same "roleplay" (strange that your roleplay are just fights) against lyrenzia with your character gorock. really, would be nice for you.

Actually Grant wasn't going to fight anyone for a LONG time becuase he is on a quest. Is it my fault that the Bloodskulls declare war on him? And then Gorock learns that the Bloodskulls were planning on taking him out of power fro mthe Rock Tribe and putting Kruuba there.
My roleplay got put together, i didnt do it on purpose.

Hmm...maybe I was just kidding. Such an inane idea would obviously be a joke. Maybe THIS is why the game is fallling. No one takes to humor anymore
