Smithng bug

I think i have a bug when i try to smith items that require wood. I tried smithing a hammer, a saw, and an axe. I have wood, coal, and iron in my inventory below the screen. Each time i try to build on of these things it tells me "You failed, maybe because you lack of materials and tools to craft them"

Maybe:

1) You need more materials.
-Attempt to solve ingame, ask others about your problem.
-The system of smithing could have changed.

2) There is something wrong with the character.

If you think there is a bug in the game, you should send an e-mail. You shouldn't post bugs and such on the boards.
