Laws of Silverbrand

I think that we should work out some laws for Silverbrand. There may already be laws, but I was angry at what happened today...

I was working in Silverbrand. Balak opens the gates. After shutting them, he shouts, "Tresspasser! Tresspasser!" Fooser was simply standing outside the gates. He was calling the dwarves names, but I just told Balak to ignore Fooser. Well, Balak continues to shout, "Go! Leave!" Fooser was not creating any fire in the area. He was only calling Balak names. I tell Balak to take the disscusion outside. He refused. I open the gates, so that Fooser and Balak could talk. That is when Balak says that I am a bad dwarf of Silverbrand and I'm breaking the law. He said he'd report me to Tialdin. Balak kept opening the gates back and forth, and yelling at Fooser. He just couldn't ignore him. I told him to work, he didn't. He just kept yelling.

Fooser did not go pass the gates! What is wrong if he is standing there. Yes, he called them names, but only for a short time. Balak thinks that Fooser is tresspassing.

I understand that it is Tialdin's room under the tavern. I think that if someone stands there, he or she is not tresspassing. Now, if the person where to go pass the gates, then something should be done. Please help Tialdin!

I was standing near the shop, actually staying quiet, and he came along and called me a slimey lizard and went into the shop, so I merely went down and returned the favor. After a while I stopped talking, and he kept shouting, actually it was amusing. You guys should really consider who looks after the gates, he was lucky it was merely me, if it was a diplomat or someone of the such, then that could create some problems!

Hm, Balak seems to have problems with other races. He called me a 'gangling' as a insult to my race as a human. And he has called said orcs are dumb things. And now he has called Fooser a slimey lizard.
These are some very important issues that need to be checked.

I too have run into problems with the dwaf named Balak, a very rude dwarf he has proven himslef.

He also buys armor, then apon trying and testing some better, demands refund for the previous armor he buys, then buys none, and then calls me a cheat.

Balak is nothing but a bad apple he has been killing! Burin I was there and when you left he killed me!

Dear citizens of our island,
To enlighten all of you: Silverbrand does not end at the gates. Everthing downstairs is private property and whoever enters it can be showed out without a reason. So, whoever stands in front of the gates and yells dumb words can be slain if he refuses to leave immediatly. And this happens quiet often these days.
