a BIG lag

my account finally got opened
i start to play but i got a VERY BIG LAG
the character moves a pace only after 20 seconds of clicking there and here but the game still displays for example "marble" or "grass" with every click ... but the character is taking TOO LONG to move and it got boring
what can i do to solve this?

Did you used the arrow keys to move?
Did you really doubble click , if you used the mouse?

Do you use file sharing programms?
Do you download something beside?
Do you have programms that use up bandwith?

Give more Informations.

i will try again
but this lag always happens to me... why only me?
at the moment i have only MSN Messenger open in the memory task bar
i have a programm installed of file sharing but i aint using it bcos it is not working well...
it is ages since i downloaded from file sharing
well i log on a lot to IRC but i logged on to illarion i closed IRC to
when i clicked there and here (even double i clicked cos i was clicking so much hehe) only for example "marble" or "grass" text appeared .. .and the character moved according to my clicks sometimes even 50n secs later
BORING !!

so what could be wrong? i think it is my damn f%$£%^£ ISP ... damn !!

From the unreadable posting you made I could only gasp little informations.

Guideline:

Do not run any other Internet Programms beside Illarion.
No Filesharing-Clients, no Downloads, ect.
Especialy if your Connection is already slow (56k Modem).

Use the Arrow Keys to move, Mouse Pathfinding is still under construction.

oh well
which are the arrows to move with?
are they those at the bottom ?? there are 3 pointing upwards and 3 pointing downwards
for example when i click on one of them pointing upward, a number adds up the more i click, and the more i click one of those pointing downwards, the number gets back down
are you telling me to use those to move??

still having problems sorry
this time, the character didnt even move a pace ... not even one !! i wrote "greetings" to an elf i so close to me not moving and nothing came out .... plz help me
why do i always have to suffer from such a big lag when playing ORPGs?
i close all programs when trying to play it ALL !!
