a question about guilds

Post by Gronfyn Alkidor »

hello there
i am a new player of illarion
i have just been accepted today and havent played illarion yet
i would like to ask something about the creation of guilds and clans in illarion
so...
to start a guild in illarion, have you got to get permission or anything?
and about website hosts ... it can be any service to host your website of the clan/guild?
have you got to ask the admins or such staff if you wanna start/create a new clan/guild??

thanks for those who can answer me...

You can create a guild whenever you want. A website is optional but appreciated, and members are not vital, though useful to have. Usually you'd want to join an existing guild though, or find people in game who have the same ambitions/intentions as you. Bear in mind that some guilds are dodgy, before you start trying to join them

You may start a guild whenever you wish, there is no OOC rule weather or not you are allowed to (as long as your guild doesn't violate server rules, of course).
However, there are two ways to start a guild.
Way one is to place yourself in the middle of the market place announcing "I made a guild, come and join". This is the bad way, as such a guild most likely won't work.
The real sucessful guilds made it the other way. Find friends, gather people around you who share your targets, and then, when you think your group is stable enough, make it official.

Or never ever make it official, and keep your guild clandestine, open to selected members. If you don't know, there are about twice more guilds then there are officially known.
