what is the title?

when creating my new char... there was to fill up a textbox name "Title:"
beneath the Character's Name Textbox
who can plz tell me what is exactly the title? well i wrote Lord in it

It's merely a prefix to your characters name. Once in game you can change it and add a suffix too if you wish. For example, a character named Therendor could in game change it to Qathas Therendor the wise n such. all in all a nifty feature.
