Lets keep on topic, people...
Anyway, as others have added extra Rpers to their list so will I...
I now vote, in order of best Rper:
Dyluck- his tales enthrall
Kalypse-her friendly attitude is a breath of fresh air
Mannelig-his Rplaying is deep and complex
Caranthir- always a good laugh
Lanthromire-there's more to him than meets the eye
Nathan Mason-he played the part of a hobo fisherman excellently(til he left)
Fluke Il-was an hilarious trickster (til he left)
Gurok-always an interesting conversation
Hysenna- an excellent bard.

and finally
Muten Roshi-he knows how to keep a grudge.
What do you all think of my choices?

ps: What constitutes as bad-rping?
I's like everyone's opinion!
We have already established that bad spelling and messy abreviations do, but what else?

It seems to me, Brendan, that you're doing one of two things. Either:

A. You're trying to say "Look at whom I associate with! Woooo!" in which case, you can kindly leave this bard of out future "shout-outs."

B. Trying to suck up to Dyluck. In which case, his ego is self-inflating. He needs no assistance.

Nilanooniel is right, we don't need a popularity contest.

I don't see how being a good roleplayer necessarily has anything to with being popular. Sabrina, the person whom I voted for, I claim to be twice as skilled in roleplaying as myself, yet she is unknown by over 3/4 of the people who read this thread. This thread is not a popularity contest, but rather a chance for people to share good roleplayers that they've met so that they can be recognized by others and get interacted with by other good roleplayers or used as a good role model. Although you don't neccesarily need to say who you think is the BEST roleplayer, this is still a good chance to find some good names, so don't be so quick to judge this thread. The problem is just that some names mentioned here are simply wrong and aren't good roleplayers.

And Hyssena, if you're saying that my character Dyluck has a self-inflating ego, that's fair, given his role and status in the community of Troll's Bane. In fact I consider myself to be slightly out of character when I'm too friendly or joke too much. If you're referring to me, the person behind the monitor, I think your statement is highly unfair.

@Dyluck: I was referring to your character, and only in jest. It would most definitely be unfair to make a comment like that about the person behind the monitor, as I don't know him or her.

I'm not using my own post as a way of sucking up to, or saying who I know in Illarion,
as a matter of fact I haven't ever had a conversation with most on the list...
Some of the people I don't even like, for God's sake! So, Hysenna, I apologise if you misconstrued voting for good Rpers as "sucking up", but if you'll look back on the rest of the posts, then you'll notice that lots of people have made lists of good rpers, and no one has accused them of sucking up.

If Brendan wants to have a vote to see who is the best role player, I don't see the problem. Sure it's not right to say one person is the best because everyone could be best in their own little way, but it only started out as a bit of FUN whilst the server was down. And I seriously doubt Brendan started this post to 'show off' how many people he knows or to 'suck - up' to anyone either. People are so uptight nowadays, I mean no offence to anyone but this was just fun and therfore doesn't really need to be taken so seriously.

If you look at the people Brendan chose you will notice that some of them are old players, Dyluck, Gurok, Caranthir, and some others. (i dont know everyones number) this meens they are good rpers because if they didn't rp then they would have been deleted long ago, with the exeption of a few. I hope that makes sense but the point is the old players are good role players.
