I can't log on

When I try to log on nothing happens, no msges, it doesn't go back to the desktop. A black screen comes up and that is it. Can someone help me and tell me how to fix it.

Any number of things...perhaps you didn't wait long enough, perhaps you don't have an account, perhaps there is a server problem...which choices can you rule out?

it may be cuz of the server cuz I know I have an account, and I know that I am waiting long enough, I'll just try it tommorrow, thanks

They have already said the server is down. Look at the other post and you will see that it has already been said.
