Mishrack
Just a quick question. What happened to Mishrack? I have neither seen him in or out of the game. Does he still play, or has he left?

I've talked with him on msn and he's saying he's going to leave. He just recently got broadband but now since he's came back to take a look around he does not like what he sees. He says he is probably going to leave for good. He doesn't like to return to see sand everywhere, Darlok in power, and other things. It's his own decision and I'm sure his leaving will be a major loss to many things...I hope he changes his mind and sticks around a while and gives it a chance and I know i'll miss him too. It was nice roleplaying with him while it lasted.

@Alnerith Dencort definitely the wrong board, you speak here to the Player of Darlok.
From what i heard from him, he have or had problems with his internet connection and must scearch for a new one. Maybe the currect situation ingame influenced his decision to come back later, but that will be only speculation.
I have the same opinion, these day´s it give to much quests, you can´t play no longer your own roleplay, your own everyday life, but that´s another story and will hopefully go away.
But it´s understandable that it give persons, who left temporally the game because of the situation.

A whole topic named after me, eh?
I'm impressed
Anyways, I have indeed had some trouble with internet availability this year, which is partly responsible for why I have not been much here.
Another reason however is the state of things... The game has changed enormously as of late, some things better - and somethings worse. As such it is no where near like the game i joined a year ago, so I'll have to prod a bit deeper to see if I can find something appealing enough.
Thirdly, nary a week goes by without yet another close friend leaves. By now, the ammount of people I got to know when I started off, those who have helped me mold Mishrack into what he is, have greatly diminished. Just to mention a few; Aerkady, Mannelig, Iqloo, Setherioth, Dyluck, Mûten, Kallypse, Callypso, Roke, Quain, Peilten and Erdrick, and so many more are, to my knowledge, far gone and so is their part of Mishrack, and as such he has become greatly diminished. Whereas I used to be able to log on and expect to meet friendly people I could interact with, I now must stay up till 4 am or such to meet someone I know for sure won't gut me for fun...
My point is, I'll still be here, but do not expect to see Mishrack in town for a while, if again.

Yes
That sounds correct to me. Just ask yourself, "When's the last time I saw Muten?" I don't think I have been ingame for at least a month, and don't plan on logging on anytime in the next year or two, if ever. It would be reasonable to consider me gone from Illarion pretty much for good. If you want me to come back for something, give me some good reasons why I should return, and maybe I'll consider it. But I shouldn't be completely gone from Illarion for a little while at least, I still read the boards some of the time. I'd make some topic like "Goodbye Illarion", but I might decide to change my mind suddenly, so we'll just pretend that I did say goodbye.paul laffing wrote:Woah... Muten left?
That was a pretty long time ago... I still played Illarion very often in those days, and had no plans of leaving for a long time. It could be possible that I moved, but what kind of game could replace Illarion? Well, no game could.Vindigan wrote:I saw muten in some other online "RPG" a while ago. So maybe he moved there?

Funny to see my name in the forums. Obviously i have been gone for a very long time. I pretty much sealed my fate by giving away all my posessions that i worked for months on end to make. Of course i still have my basic equipment. I do play (I use the term loosely) once every 2 weeks or more. I've noticed that things have really become, well, dull. I check the "online players list" often, just to see that noone i know is around. I guess Illarion, for that reason among others that i cant be sure of, is just not a fun place to be anymore. (I mean fun as in something to do, obviously an rpg must include some things that arent what one would usually consider fun.)
