Being a mage sounds exciting, but they seem a bit overpowered and I see a lot of them. My character would make a good mage with high intelegence and low strength... and the fact that he likes adventuring leans me towards choosing to be a mage, since I'll need to be strong to survive while traveling.
Druids brew potions... but I'm not sure what kind of potions. From what I hear, they have no offensive magic at all. They arn't as common though, so I might be a bit more useful as a potion brewer. (Plus I like to be a peaceful person and help others. I hear that druids are good support in battle.)
I want to make sure I know everything about each of these occupations before deciding... so here are a few questions:
1) What good would other druid skills, like charming animals, be?
2) If I become a druid, will I be strong enough to still adventure places? My character loves to explore, but doesn't want to end up dead trying to get from one place to another.
3) Approximately... How many mages would you say there are for every druid on the island? If I go traveling with someone, I would want to help them in a way not many others could. ^_^;
4) Exacally what kind of potions do druids make? recovery potions I know of... but would there be something like strength increasing potions or something that would alter the character somehow? For example... If a character came down with some illness, could there be a potion that would heal it?
I know what i should choose might also depend on the kind of character i have, so I'll write it down here...
Epton is a peacefull human, but he like to explore lands. If the place he lived were under attack though, he would fight as much as he could to protect it (or help the fighters protect it). He enjoys assisting others, making friends, and being unique. Epton has high intelegence and willpower, but rather low strength.
