Everytime I start a browser based forum, or game, the requires a password, I can't seem to log in, anthing client based is fine, but broswer based, it wont let me in, hotmail for example, when ever I try to log in there, it wont let me, it just tells me that the place I tried to log in from is invalid, even if it's from www.hotmail.com or from msn messanger, which runs fine, and another online browser based game I play, I type in my user name and password, and it refreshes the page but wont sign me in, it's the same for other forums I try to log in to, anything with a password I can't use, the only thing I can log into is these forums, but after every post I make here I get signed out, can someone please help me, this is getting frustrating, oh yeah, my firewall is Zone Alarm, and I've been trying to get java to run on the comp so I've fiddled with the controls a bit, but I went into internet option and used the restore defaults, same with Zone alarm, also, my brother tried to defagment the c drive, but the computer froze, could that stop me from logging into thee places?

You've got cookies disabled probably. If its zone alarm pro (not the free one) then go to the privacy tab and put cookie controlls off. i had that problem to start with but once you find the right settings its great :D

Sometimes it helps a lot to delete the browser cache and all former cookies.

But the best solution is to use a good browser. Try out Mozilla @ http://www.mozilla.org/ . It supports tabbed browsing like Opera, but there are no annoying advertisements implemented. Oh, and there are certainly many other advantages ;)
