I QUIT

Post by Asteron »

God this game sucks, even for roleplaying a little you get put in sad prison for hours, no wonder it is so unpopular, the staff don't add anything to make it fun. Well another one of your growing number of players leaving is quitting this piece of S***

You can lock or delete this , just because you dont want the truth to be heard.

I could have more fun watching a dripping tap then playing Illarion

Because you Lit an orc with Green fire, then logged, then logged back in and your own flame was used to kill you?

sorry but i cannot understand you. it IS roleplaying if you get into the prison because you have doing something false in the city. do ya think everything is allowed? have ya ever playd an P&P? do ya know what happens with you if you walk across a city and kills or attacks some guys? make that in D&D and you will get killed or you will be put in prison. THATS roleplaying.

personally i agree with him, being locked in a prison for 10 hours with no interaction is not exactly appealing, what are you supposed to do , ((sit in front of your computer screen for 10 hours on the internet? What if your internet provider is say 10p a minute, that will really make you want you to stay on Illarion))

But you shouldn't kill people for no reason Asteron.

Yes but some people get locked in for 10 hours, perhaps you need to think about what i said about the ((internet charges and sitting in front of a computer screen for 10 hours, because its not going to make you want to stay))

Maybe he stayed in there for 15 minutes thus far, but the total he must serve is 8 hours.

Additionally, he has logged out twice during a fight today, to my knowledge, but this was not the main reason anyways.

Every person has a different amount of time they can spend on the internet, and it's difficult to find something suitable for everyone. A few hours can a be a lot to some people and nothing to others. So the balance was decided to be 10 hours maximum for in-game crimes.

well i personally think 10 hours is way too much 1) if internet price is by the minute your wasting internet time and money, 2) If you think you cannot get bored within 10 hours, or 10 hours is not long then i think thats crazy 3) if Illarion Administrative staff decided to involve a marketing department then prison for 10 hours would not be good for customers
4) If i was put in prison for 10 hours id probably just stop playing Illarion and go onto something else, because id rather play another game like habbo hotel or tibia and have fun for 5+ hours then sit and do nothing for 10 hours, and if everyone thinks this illarion will lose members with its 'prison' system

To Asteron:

I was there when you began making such stupid things, like casting flames everywhere, on people and entrances, and let me and my friend fall from the top of the library and saying bad words to me and other people...
You have to take the consequences and that you quit because of the prison thing, shows to all that you have not much knowledge of an RPG, you should better play some shooter games, where you can kill people without being taken to prison, I'm glad to loose such players like you...

If your character (and you as the player) wish not to spend 10 hours in prison...do not commit the crimes that will land you there. It is very simple. I have no problem with the time period.

I killed him for attacking Eliza, and the other human in the shop yesterday, but after multiple warning to leave town, it's his own fault, he also attacked loads of people, he deserved the prison time.

Personally, I feel 10 hours is excessive.

When I created the prison I never expected terms to be that long. Either indefinate (forever) or an hour normally. Maybe 4 or 5 for repeat offenders.

I think the Jail is a good RP punishment, but not a great punishment for the people playing the game, they can be imprisoned for RPing an evil character well and then have to suffer the punishments OOC by not being able to play the game for several hours. And as someone already mentioned, its alright for people with unlimited internet access, but what about people who pay by the minute?

10 hours is too much.
There are some people who do not have unlimited access to the internet, and some people just don't have the time and money to be in illarion for 10 hours in a jail cell.

Few people even play illarion for 10 hours at a time...I never have as there IS something called RL.

1-5 hours should be the range in my opinion.

Just because you cannot spend 10 hours straight in jail doesnt mean your screwed.....so you cant play illarion for a few days...spending lets say 2 hours a day in jail. Now I do think 10 hours is alot, and probably should only be implemented as a punishment for breaking game rules, not silly lyrenzia rules

It takes alot of nonsense and a lack of common sense to get 10 hours prison and if such a persons quits playing im not sad. People that log to escape retribution shouldnt talk about good and bad RP. Guys like you only repeat in telling us "Oh i have such a creative idea...i play a maniac so i have a perfect IC reason to cast flames about and generally behave like a drunken 13 year old boy."If i follow Asterons logic it would be quite allright to hack into his Pc and suicide a few times to decrease his skills as an OOC mean to settle IC quarrels seems quite acceptable for him. He should play Tibia with Dunthor.

#me waves Asteron with a smile as the raft dissapears at the horizon

what you just said sounded like YOU were a drunken 13 year old.
Anyway i still stick with that 10 hours is too long ! If i had a RP game id keep the limit to 15 minutes

10 hours! Wow, sounds like a long time, or an subtle message to bugger off because you shouldn't play this game. The person in real life controls the character, the gamemasters shouldn't be sympethetic because the person had violence ingrained in his mind and he wanted to destroy everyone. I think a permaban for such an action is adequate.

DON"T DO THE CRIME IF YOU CAN"T DO THE TIME.

I have an char that is in the jail unlimited for an rp reason and you shouting around that 10 hours is to much then i can only say you have no friends in Illarion, because they would visite you, then go and leave and play some stupid games . Kids that are not abel to carry consequents must be banned that is my last word.

Unpopular? Is it suppose to be popular?
The staff is working. It is in alpha, it is not done.
Piece of S***? Who created this now? Students of Computer Science?

You've made me laugh.
