Quest Summary; English
I'm not sure if someone has already posted the whole quest deal for english players, so I'll tell everyone the basics of what has been happening.
It was said that many things were found in the Ogre Cave. (Books, depots, etc.) So, someone had to be living there for awhile. They found Darlok who appeared to be the inhabitant of the cave. He panicked and summoned two rot-worms. People began to search for him and he was later found at the Ogre Castle.
He was making rot-worms dig up the castle for him. He demanded that the castle would be ressurected. From what I got, Ashburg then attacked Darlok and perished. (I'm too sure if that was true.) He said that the castle was to be revived or he would continue to use rot-worms to drain the vegetation from the land and ultimatly make Trolls Bane a desert.
(Remember that not everything in this message may be true. This is just what I got out of it.)

1.)Well noone said that Darlok panicked. There was also a hidden altar in the cave and noone knows to which god it is dedicated.
2.)Not the worms drain the vegetation but the powers he calls upon to summon creatures, at least if i (and my char) got it right. There is no real IG proof of that his powers dry up the land but it seems very likely.
3.)He blackmailed the town to build the castle for him and demanded an answer untill monday.
Remember that are only the information i got, i might be wrong too.

There have been a few rumors floating about the castle with the Mana Well, or otherwise sometimes referred to as the "Ogre Castle", so let me just clear up a few facts so that nobody tries to make a story that contradicts these facts.
Some of this is factual information for the player only, but your character can still believe otherwise, but it won't make it true. Some other info here is just common sense and it's up to you whether your character realizes it.
Warning: Spoiler Alert
Do not continue reading if you don't know anything about the Mana Well and don't want to find out here.
................................................................
1. First of all, what you see of the castle are RUINS. There is NO standing castle beneath it. As the story of the castle goes, it was destroyed ages ago. Then there is the Mana Well which you can see on the surface, and nobody builds a well on the TOP floors of a castle, so it's common sense that this is the lower floor and that there is no more significant structure below it.
2. As to whether or not the mana in the well is still "poisoned", nobody really knows for sure because Dyluck put a magic seal which prevents access to the well. He then put a magic sword there to drain the mana, but whether it has all been drained is unstated. It was later stated that Dyluck destroyed the sword, but it was not indicated as to the whereabouts of the broken sword or whether it is still inside the well. The seal around the Mana Well still remains. Unless another player wants to use part of this in another story and knowledge of these "unstated facts" is important, they will remain a mystery until due time to reveal them. Otherwise PM me and we'll talk about it.
3. There is nothing that indicates that ogres lived there (at least not before it turned into ruins), but only that they roam the area nowadays.
