What kind of roleplaying is this?

Everything about Illarion that fits nowhere else. / Alles über Illarion was inhaltlich in kein anderes Board passt.

What kind of roleplaying is this?

Post by Tamurom »

A few minutes ago, there was an elf and a human fighting each other for training on the roof of the tavern. Now, I don't know what kind of people train in battle on the roof of a tavern, but to make things worse they were plain saying things out loud like "attributes" and "can you see my name?" The characters I'm talking about are 45014 and 46045, and I think one of them is named Dante Darkbringer. This name seems to be alright, but if you think in roleplay fashion, what kind of person would name their family Darkbringer anyways? I would say only some kind of crazy mad person, but he certainly didn't seem like it.

Some people tend to do that when there are not many players online. I don't think it is a big deal, but they should stay in character when playing. Just warn them. I'm not too sure if something could be done about that. (Unless they were to run around all day and do this.)

Please do not post numbers on the forums. Only use the numbers when sending emails or PMs to the GMs.

Why not? Someone else might be able to back him up knowing who it is. I could understand if it was in the RPG forum.. :?

I do not think they should be banned for a little slip. ask them to stop. if they don't then start thinking about punishment.

I think you should just post 2-3 numbers max in a persons number so its kinda a mystery.

That's true for the rpg forum.

As far as ooc problems go; I think the numbers should be used only by the people involved and the GMs.
