A library full yet empty for my wants
Drathe scanned the library shelves, moving books and parchments, pulling out and replacing books that caught his eye. But none where what he sought.
After hearing rumourse in the tavern and variouse other town wispers, he had heard one about Geomancy, tho this did not directly intrest him, the small mention of a hunter, an Enforcer did. There was nothing quite like a good story to read, then tell again over a tankerd of ale in the tavern.
The Enforcer was some mythical, man, beast, creature, or demi god who would hunt the users of magics decreed band by the gods of the land. What a wonderouss tale it would make over a table of drunkerd friends. But as with most tales it was facts that made the core of it, and so information was wat Drathe sought for in the books.
For hourse he searched amazed then annoyed to the point of sickness at how many books Mrs Bluesbottom had written about the joys of cooking.
Nothing, he could find nothing on the Myth. Hmm, maye I should speak to Damien, he thought as he put the variouse books back in their places.

The key to the drought problem is hardly in the books.
We got what we deserved, being a parasite, consumer society. We kill trees, animals, fish, herbs. We live, killing everything in our way.
Time for nature to teach us a lesson. And it did.
Or someone else did, somebody who hates humans and their lifestyle with all their essence.
A just punishment, I see...

This town of Troll's Bane has been cruel to the land. This is the result. This town has always taken from the earth and the forest and the waters. Never has this town given back to Nature from which it has taken all. The present drought is quite likely a result of imbalance caused by the inconsideration of this town in its acts towards the earth. Look not to books nor magic to save you, instead choose the simple and wise path of taking care of nature....

I believe your assumption is possible, though improbable. I do not know if you have noticed, but there is only fresh sand and dead grass within the town and its general borders. The island is not suffering, the town is. I believe at this point it is safe to say that there is something other than nature taking part in this. Nature holds no grudges and seeks no vengeance.

Why the attitude? I am simply stating the fact. Our lifestyle is making something very powerful angry.
One thing I agree with you upon, woodsman, is that I doubt that Darlok or Geomancy has anything to do with it. Think someone who likes to destroy books, doesn't like human lifestyle, and hates rune magic. Clue everywhere.
And you sir or madam who didn't sign their name, maybe you will inform us of what is known to you?
