A question for the Illarion team

Post by Grung Vagan »

Today I got an e-mail with an answer to my questions iam a little confuessed because they said they cant add me into the game and didnt give me a reason. I think I deserve a reason to this. I have been seeing new names everyday almost and they cant get mine. So will somone answer my question why cant they add me. I waited long enough to play this game.

this is what the e-mail says:

I regret to tell You, we have not been able to accept your ask for an account for Illarion. Because of the immense number of inquiries, we are not able to explain our refusal.

Illarion-Team

also: will I ever get to play my charater in the future? And they should post something about that so new people dont get there hopes up and than get turned down like this or even just close the account system until we do get new characters.

Wait a second, you deserve my and the others time? What gives you this right?

To this mail:
As it stated already in this mail, we dont have the time to tell everybody why we refused him.

Obviously your anwers where below standard.

And they should post something about that so new people dont get there hopes up and than get turned down like this or even just close the account system until we do get new characters.
I dont really understand what you mean with that, but you dont need to explain it to me.

Have a nice day.

Thats answer enough.

We send you two simple questions, you failed to answer them properly, therefore you have been refused.
There is no other reason possible.

Call me mad, but maybe you could have replaced "we are not able to explain our refusal." with, "The answers you provided were not good enough" or something like that?

Sometimes its not only the bad anwsers, but other factors also.

- horrible spelling
- senseless formatings
- awful grammar
- ect.

These are not the main points we judge about, but they influence our decisions.
So only saying "Sorry your Anwers are wrong/not enouth" would also be insufficient, because every reafusal has a unique combination of factors.

I guess there is one other reason, not to explain the reason for a refusal. Can you imagine how many people we would need to discuss every single refusal in the way, Keikan does with you? Or do you really believe, people would not ask for a second explanation, why we thought their answer wasn't the one we burned to hear?

Just think if they didn't reply saying you were rejected, you might have a long wait ahead of you.

I see, I was unaware there were so many diverse reasons for the refusal of accounts. I believed there would only be about 10-12 reasons, that could be listed as possible reasons why the account application was rejected.

Even if we would have the time, and we tell them what they did wrong, so they could be better at the next request, what would they learn?

Nothing.

Its also some kind of learning procedure.

Olus they should not complain if they got no reason. who controls the Illa, The GM's, and is there any law requiring them to tell why he is refused, nope, none. I am going to make my own game and do the same, rule those helpless players!

Yes, that's true Maktan. Of course I'm sort of under the impression that the GMs are trying to make this a pleasent game.
