Question for the graphic designers who made this game
Hey! I don't know where to put this, so I'll put it in the Graphic/Grafik thread. I have a few questions:
What did you use to make this game? What software(s)? Did you buy this (or these) software(s) from a website or a store? OR did you make this software yourself? Is there a tutorial in it, or must you be trained by someone?
I want to know this because I want to start making a RPG like this.
Thanks for your help!

How many times does Martin have to say this?! He uses the Demonic Program of Evil!
Hehe... just read this on the graphics FAQ...
"Feel free to post any of your remaining questions on the graphics board in the forums. And don't be afraid to ask questions, it will only help us better this FAQ. "
Martin obviously didn't write it...
Martin uses 3d Studio Max.

No, you need to know a programming language to make a game. Paint shop pro and animation shop a shareware, free. Chumbalumbasoft's milkshape is the best cheap gfx program you can buy, it has no renderer though. You can download a free 30day trial of it. I suggest you download "maya personal learning edition". It has no renderer, can't import or export, but you can always take screenshots
. Best part, its free.
paint shop pro made by jasc software, don't know their exact url.
just search for milkshape on google, chumbalumbasoft should be the first site.
www.aliaswavefront.com for maya.
I don't know there are trial versions for many programs, but maya ple gives you unlimited access, not just 30 days.

go to www.aliaswavefront.com then click maya under latest news and events, there should be a big button in the middle of the page that says learn maya for FREE!!. Click it. Go to option 2,click it. Fill out the form, send it, download and install maya 4.5 ple, you will get the cd key in an email. Start up ple, put in the code, chaching. Watch the learning videos, do the tutorials.
When you use Kazaa, you are not downloading anything from Kazaa. You are downloading files off of other people's computer who are online at the time and who also have Kazaa. Kazaa is just offering the program to do this with. They are not actually doing the file sharing. So Kazaa is not doing anything illegal, the people using it are.
Also I would not recomend Kazaa because when you download the program you also (unknowingly) get some advertising programs which are "piggy-backed" on the Kazaa program. This causes a lot of annoying pop up ads.

I had to delete several postings because they gave hints how to break the law.
DON'T DO THIS HERE!
I don't mind what you write someone by ICQ, e-mail or private message, but I HAVE to care about what you write here, for this is a public board! THINK before you post!
Again, I'll repeat it: There is no legal way but buying software like 3D studio max etc.
