I have a few questions....

Post by shlape »

Before you read the questions, I believe many people have posted most of these questions, but Im too lazy to click search and type in all the questions (even though this probably takes more work to type all these questions... ) so dont tell me to use the search function. And notice I havent played the game yet, so I wouldn't know.

1) what is the currency in illarion? just gold and silver? is each silver ingot 250 gold?

2) how do you walk? clicking? or arrow keys? do you move your legs? or is it not animated yet?

3) does anyone look different? or does every race look the same, no matter what weapon, or armor they have?

4) tell me about these depot things

5) is the fighting animated? or is it like words above your head?

6) how many buildings are there? is there more than one city on the island?

7) can you push people off buildings and off bridges? how CAN you push people?

8) can you always see someones name? or do you just see their number? how DO you see their number?

9) are their quests in this game?

10) is there a tutorial anywhere?

Thats all I could think of. If theres anything you think I should know, post it.

1.yes gold coins and silver ingots 250 gold=1 ingot
2.arrow keys
3.you look different depending on your gender/race
4.depot is basically a bank
5.well it shows a little animation of blood when you hit somebody, and it makes a sound like a sword slicing something
6. There is the town of trollsbane, and the dwarftown silverbrand is directly under it.
7.you can push people by holding ctrl then click another player, move them to a different spot, they must be adjacent to you though.
8.if they have introduced themselves you can hit f12 and see their name and number, otherwise just their number.
9.gm made quests, no npc quests.
10.there are many sites that are helpful for illarion, i think there is a link to them on the front page.

I agree that it would have been better had you discovered these for yourself ingame...better for you, I mean. Better experience, more interesting and exciting...oh well for you...

They are newbs. As experienced players it is proper that you help them. If you feel their questions are obvious or they are too lazy themselves to figure out then don't answer them but don't bother posting a message telling them they shouldn't ask questions. It's hardly encouraging.

Ah, but you see he said "I believe many people have posted most of these questions, but Im too lazy to click search and type in all the questions (even though this probably takes more work to type all these questions... ) so dont tell me to use the search function." So pretty much he is saying he is to lazy to do this himself so do it for him. I thought it was dumb or just annoying that he would say this.

Erm, no offense... but this game is not about fighting... But I guess you know that already. It doesn´t matter if you loose a second or whatever, you won´t get anything out of this game if you fight all day long.

But answer your 9th question about quests:
Feel free to create your own quests! Gather some heroes and set out for an adventure yourself. Try to find a long lost treasure... Struggle with a demon and claim a magical sword... rescue a innocent child that was lost in the woods and bring it safe to the city... and so on.

Yours Belegi

This is roleplay. But first you need to get some friends before you start some kind of big 'adventure'.

To attack someone, you hold down Ctrl and click the thing you want to attack. Just remeber, Ctrl is attack key, shift is the 'use' key like if you want to dig you 'use' the shovel with the ground. And alt is your magic/herb key. Once you know some runes or have learned about some herbs, they will appear when you press and hold the alt key. :D

I learned what the Ctrl key did.. the hard way.. :(
