In the game, I sneered at a hobbit because he created a fire in the town. Then he types in #me wonders what the humans nose problem is. I say it's moronic RP to make your thoughts visible, then he criticizes me just because this character is new; although I have characters that are much older than him anyway. He judges my skill in roleplaying and intelligence simply because I have a 4**** number.
Hah! Perhaps it's the so called "newbie" that knows a bit more about roleplaying in this discussion? After all, this OOC response came from an Archmage Battle Hobbit who makes his thoughts visible to other players

I think it should also be important to warn others not to turn into idiotic RuneScapers, and remember that just because a player has an older character than the one he is speaking to in OOC doesn't mean he is better in every fashion...
That also reminds me. Certain players continue to judge my already decent combat skills, and every other skill for that matter, and call me "young." How would they know my youth if I was covered behind a cloak? So yeah, this character has a 4**** number. I ask somebody what I should train on in combat for improvement, and somebody replies "You? I would say flies." Now, why would you say that? You can't tell somebody they're weak or they 'look young' simply by hitting the F12 key and taking a look at how large their number is. Mixing OOC into the game, tisk freakin' tisk in my own opinion.
Bottom line, there are an equal number of bad roleplaying newbies and old players. We aren't unskilled in game or out of game just because we have a high number.
So, any thoughts on the subject? I had to rant.
