The Food Bug; it's back.

Post by Aerinkoth »

I'm aware there are other subjects on this matter, but none of them seem to answer how to fix it. I have a bug where I can't get healed by any kind of food, and I always have to rely on health potions or spells just to live...it's awfully tough to train now.

Also, when I stand in fire, my health doesn't visibly go down although it actually does; I found this out after I died, but it appeared I still had full health.

Is there any possible way to fix this? I've eaten, and eaten, and eaten, but nothing happens.

The food bug and the healthbar bug are the same thing.

when you eat food, your actually regaining health, it just dosent show it, like you standing in fire and it dosent go down.

This is usually caused by slow connections.

Paul, enough spam.

Anyway, it's annoying. I don't think I actually regain health, because when I'm hit by a blade, my health visibly goes down; I don't want to risk death.

I think the bug is well known by the staff so its not good to send them e-mails with a bug description wich they know.

If everybody who has a problem with this bug sends a E-Mail to the staff and they have to read every thread with a description of this bug. they wouldn't have the time to fix it.

I think for awhile we have to live with this Bug (yes i too).

Paul, you idiot. I run my own online RPG and this has happened in the past on mine. I believe this problem is no different than the one I dealt with.

Yes, your own online RPG... what might it be called, per chance? And calling me an idiot doesn't solve anything.

The food problem, is it related to the type of computer? Because I have tried the game on slow and fast connections and never had the problem.

So wait, is this a problem with random characters or just new ones?

I'm guessing random, if an old fart like Fedaykin has to put up with it too.

And i remember the day you joined Pauli, really a lucky day for all.
It were an catastrophe if you leave the board and the people here, i hope this day will never come.

But is this important for the current topic here? No? Oh then it were really the best if you would shut up.

Was your post important? No. You should shut up, too.

Anywayz... does the food bug affect only certain computers? Or are you sure it is only new players?

I have looked through the other threads (in English) about this alleged bug. So is it a bug or is it a "feature"? When I first started playing I didn't know that food regenerated health until I noticed my character's health bar increase without healing. Is this a problem that can and will be fixed or is it something we should just get used to from now on?

I'm fairly sure it's a bug with new characters. Shivoc needs to look at it.

Yes it is a bug not lagging graphics, and it happens to new chars as far as anyone has heard (even if they have older accounts) it seems to be random not everyone gets it. My new chars got it before but all of a sudden one day it just started working...so I thought they had fixed it but I guess it could have come back again.
