Personal In-game e-mail
Think about it. when you buy a house, you can also buy a mailbox to send and recieve in game mail instead of giving out your real e-mail adress. all you have to do is approach the mailbox and a new window will apear and you can send messages or check your mail! i think its a wonderful addition and will make things safer because no ones giving out their real adress.
First of all, the Board provides a PM-Function (Private Message).
You can also hide your eMail on the Board.
Second, get in the Game before your post such a Nonsense on this Board.
And please use the some of the Braincells you got, before writing anything.
Third, get to know the Game before even thinking about a Proposal !
Thank you in Advance.

well darlok, this really isn't such blaber because the website does somewhat misinform you about whats in the game. Currently, you cannot buy houses. As darlok said, play the game before making suggestions. Also I do relize there isn't a guide to the game. search google for "illarion" quantom illarion is a good site. you also might come across alot of russian pages but keep looking

Oh well my friend told me all about this game so blame him, but still its a good idea they sould think about when they start selling houses again. Also darlok im not talking about the fourms, im talking about in the actual game, you know, while playing, you moron. because if i wanted to message someone i saw in the game, he or she might have a different screename on the fourm than in the game.
Now do you understand? or do i have to come over to your trailer and draw a diagram for you?

I know he will do his "I am so elite" sayings on you when he comes back.Stag wrote:Oh well my friend told me all about this game so blame him, but still its a good idea they sould think about when they start selling houses again. Stag, you are definitely hypocritical, and take your vile tongue to a game more suitable for you, like tonka or something along that intelligence line. And there are no mailboxes, nor would it fit in the time period to have them since mail was not delivered in the sense you think of it until... wasn't it the Pony Express that started it?

You're stupid, you're stupid, you're stupid, you're stupid and YOU'RE stupid! See how dumb that sounds? That is all you people have been doing here. And now you'll probably call what I said an insult, when really I am just showing you how completely pointless your posts are.
I would like to request that a GM close this thread down, as it no longer contains any useful information.

HAHAHAHAHA! you guys crack me up! all this just because darlok insulted the post. And then you totally changed the whole subject. have you even took your precious time to look at the idea. I think its a good idea to use a personal mailing system while in the game. they could use a NPC messenger to come to you and deliver the message like they used to do in medival times.

Mr. X was made 2 days after stag... how suspicious...
Stag, you're spamming every board. At least in my spam, I said something that gave some sort of info. Did you have a message that was like, "So the everyone thinks this is a bad idea" or something? I don't know. Its just really horrible. I hope your character dies and burns in hell. Forever. and ever. and ever.

Don't preach against what you cannot help but cause, Paul. Take a close look at your number of posts, compare it to the number of others and then look at your joining date. I believe right now you have the most posts out of anyone ever in Illarion. However, it is most unfortunate that 90% of your posts are useless crap that has no substance.
On the topic:
I really dislike the idea of ingame mail. In those days, as mentioned before, they did not have mailboxes, nor was mail very frequent unless in time of special occasion or event. Back then, they did not send letters that simply said:
Dear Bob,
What's up? Not much here man. Hey, I'd ask you to come visit, but our house was quarantined because of the plague. Oh wait, I guess you're susceptible to the plague now too if you're reading this. Well, come visit me sometime since we're both going to die now.
Your bro,
Jim
Mail was used as a formal delivery system for such things as invites to noble parties and announcements of royalty, as I recall.
