Bloodhearte walks to the mummy tomb is secrecy, assuring himself that nobody is near. He pulls out his mirror, to communicate with Drahken at long last.
"Fortinbris, you are truly laughable. You obviously weren't mature enough to handle resurrection of the dead, and certainly remain mediocre in many, many other ways. I still wonder why I bother with you as a servant..."
"Lord, I apologize once again, but harvesting power is difficult in these times..."
"I already knew you would think of such. That is why I wish to use you for...an experiment. You see, soul harvesting IS a difficulty as so many already know the ability of the mirrors. I have made dealings with Cherga, and she agrees to help. If not souls, what can you collect? Blood. The Lord of Blood and Bones, obviously, appreciates bloody sacrifices. This can be an alternative to the already difficult task to collecting souls in the mirror. Take this tool..."
A very long, thin dagger of a black color appears in a glimpse of fire in Bloodhearte's hand.
"The Cursed Athame. With it, you cover the blade with the blood of mortals, and let it drip onto the mirror. With this process, the blood will be transfered to us, strengthening the Lord. Unfortunately, this dagger is hardly a decent weapon for piercing flesh. Therefore, you need a dramatic change...a change, from your humanity. It begins now..."
There is a short, painful flash of energy toward Bloodhearte, and he stands effortlessly.
"I understand, this is not a granted power...but rather, a change in identity. I am no longer Fortinbris Bloodhearte."
Drahken disappears from the mirror, and the new being walks away from the tombs.
A New Fiber of Being...

Malinne can barely stand. After not being able to wake up for a whole day she is more tired and weak than she has ever been before. She curses herself for letting the sickness take over. She thinks about Armil and Cain. She thinks about death. She can barely see or think...
After wandering the town in search of some of her most precious companions she becomes exhausted and gives up. She recognizes Crosis and Bloodhearte and Zerbus, who she has not seen in a while. She struggles to stand and breathe... She knows she is about to take her last breath.
Bloodhearte stands beside her the entire time and talks with her a while. She keeps vomiting and coughing up blood. Eventually she gives up trying to wipe the mess away. She speaks of quitting... no longer trying to fight the sickness to live. Bloodhearte argues with her about this, saying she should not die.
"But what can I do?" Malinne asks, knowing what the response will be. Bloodhearte has an idea and she see it flash in his eyes. He knows it is shameful, but does not regret the suggestion. Malinne thinks a moment about it, then after only little thought and with almost no time left, she nods her head.
Bloodhearte then leads Malinne into the southern woods and after only a few words...
***
Malinne awakens and a small campfire is burning before her. She screams and tries to back away from the flames, draining herself of what little strength she had... Bloodhearte is there, with a concerned look on his face.
He tells her of her transormation. He tells her what she must do to survive...
Malinne listens and at the same time tries to recollect the events that occured. She smiles when she realizes her illness is gone...

After staying in the town of Trollsbane late one night, Gerard gets ready to head back home. He gathers up his cabbage he has just erned and heads to the town store to sell them for money. Walking through the street with a heavy bag over his shoulder he is thinking about his accomplishments from the hard working day
Hello Eliza, how has your day been?
Gerard talks with Eliza for a bit and finishes his work
After leaving the store with no weight on his shoulders he thinks about his friends as he plays with a little gold ring in is fingers. He thinks about new friends he had just made, and his older friends that he talked to that day.
Which reminds me about Fortinbris, I spoke with him today, but he seemed different, he seemed......oh, nevermind.
Gerard shrugs off his thoughts on Fortinbris and then he wonders about the friends he hadnt seen that day (continuing his thoughts before Fortinbris)
hmm..... I wonder where Cain and Malinne have been up to today. I hope Malinne is handling her sickness well. She didnt feel so good yesterday. And Cain, havnt seen him in several days.....
Gerard scouts the town once more before heading home to see if he can find anymore people to say goodnight to and hopefully Cain or Malinne.
I hope nothing has gone wrong......
