But back to the subject.
I say we let Martin be the judge. He is such a hard ass he will only let the best names make the poll. :P

(just kidding Martin, please don't boot me.)

The town is Troll's Bane.
The world is Illarion.

This is not only my version, but the official one. Whatever people say, this one is the correct one.

From the official history, I would not give the island an elven or dwarven name. A human one is better, as it were the human lands which had fallen into chaos.

I think so too, whe should choose a name in a generally language, so it can understand from all people. And the human speech is one of the most common languages.

I used to call people Illarionites, guess now I 'll have to call them Troll's-Banians. Also a name doesn't have to be a word with some kind of cheesy meaning. It could be called Furwood or anything. I personally don't like names like 'island of [enter cheese here]' bu that's only my opinion.

......
Brendan,
Everything I have read says that the world is called Illarion and the town is called Troll's Bane.
There is no name for the island.

Here the thread where the town name was decided. Notice that there was also spoken about a name for the island but never decided.
