The Villianous Blacklist

Post by Juniper Onyx »

This is a list started in Year 76 to identify beings of ill will that the Chamber has found unworthy to buy or sell products and services to the Chamber, it's representatives and merchants of goodwill.

It is our hope that these individuals should be shunned as the venomous reprobates they are by the crafting community, honorable, peaceful merchants and suppliers everywhere.

Blacklisted persons:
Greum (Male Orc - Murder, unrepentant Violence, Treason and Slander) - 14th Zhas, 76
Orcs of the Bloodbanes (Male & Female Orcs of Galmair - Protective and accessories to Gruem, known murderer) - 6th Zhas, 77
ElaXandir (Male Elf - Defense of Murderous accomplices, but then murder as well) - 8th Zhas, 77 - Removed (20th Ushos, 77)

Dedicated to the safe, peaceful trade of suppliers and crafters everywhere,

Several reports have reached us at the Chamber of a murder in Galmair! By the Don's own laws, this is illegal and cannot be condoned by this organization. Defence of friends and skirmishes is forgiven, but the extra step taken when a foe is down, to commit murder is a choice that I cannot support. With a heavy heart, I must place ElaXandir on this list until such time as he fully repents and detatches himself from a known muderer, the Orc known as Gruem.

Unofficially, I have not traded with Orcs since the Gruem incident, but now officially, I will also cease trading and repair services with known accomplices and protectors of these murderers too, such as the Orcs from the Bloodbanes, whose Chief Ruknar is a known accomplice and supporter of these two, as well as others who support and defend their actions. I encourage all merchants of goodwill to do the same. Friends of Gruem and Ela may want to declare their allegiances through actions of restraint and condemnation of their actions or they too shall be listed as "blacklisted". I for one hate to see good friends caught up in this.

It is my hope the Don hears of this and through his Hand, bans and punishes known criminals in the city to make it safe for trade again.

New information from a trusted third party has finally reached us about the details of this affair between Ela'Xander and Orakh/Thurm, which seems to indicate that he was innocent of the actual murder of Orakh. Why this information didn't come out sooner, we cannot say, but it will come out in trial and hopefully his innocence can be proven.

I'm removing Ela'Xander from this list as we cannot justify his continued blacklisting in light of this new evidence. This should be a lesson to all, if you are accused, advocate for yourself! It shouldn't be left to unknown rumor and hearsay to charge your guilt or innocence.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for Ela'Xander, but the truth in this case has been slow revealing itself. I am happy to resume trades with him should he choose, and encourage other merchants of Goodwill to conduct business with him as well.

Hopefully, the Left Hand will deliberate on all available evidence and come to the same conclusion we have.
