Nana Winterbutter Fish Quest

Need help. Got to do Nana's other quests but this one had problems.
Quest location: Yewdale just West of Runewick.

The quest needs 10 unidentified fish. Nana said to talk to a Zeraria Riverbank, but this leads to different quests.
Quest log itself mentions of fishing via fishing rod. I got 20 trout. cooked 10 just to make sure. Nana still asks me to talk to the lizard.
Thus I am stuck with this quest. Is this a bug?

Unrelated to the new fish swarms.

IMO a poorly designed quest, likely to be reworked when that NPC gets reviewed in the future.
