FAQ's
Q: How do Ranks work in the Chamber?
A: We use the Crafter's Rank system to indicate the level of skill, not "Rank". This allows customers to accurately know the craftsman they desire and what his true level is with the Chamber's "Seal of Approval". The craftsman has to display an example of their work to be vouched for at a new rank. The system is as follows:
- Basic ((lvl 0))
Novice ((Lvl 10))
Apprentice ((Lvl 20))
Initiate ((Lvl 30))
Journeyman ((Lvl 40))
Specialist ((Lvl 50))
Expert ((Lvl 60))
Adept ((Lvl 70))
Artisan ((Lvl 80))
Master ((Lvl 90))
Grandmaster ((Lvl 100))
A: Our members show us an example of their work, and we vouch for their level of skill. This 'Seal of Approval" and their listing in our new "Hall of Fame" protects customers from shady crafters who take gold and don't deliver the goods, and helps crafters get the word out about their skill without having to tell everyone they meet, which is very inefficient. Both parties benefit by the Chamber vouching for and advertising skills.
Q: I'm a crafter. How can I join the Chamber?
A: Any Crafter or Gatherer (non-crafter) at any level can join the Chamber at no cost simply by seeing anyone of the Council of Grandmasters or their Contacts and apply by displaying the finest example of your work within a craft, signed by you or your trademark, and agreeing to work with the Chamber to promote crafts, businesses and trade everywhere.
